But why do you need it when you can make your SD card as internal storage in android N?

Because sd card to internal requires formatting sd card and when my decice gets slow i like to clean flash.

And for that aosp gesture typing you should try installing Google keyboard .. it might work :good:

I'm in "CM 12" and download the latest version of "CM 14". I tried to install it from the TWRP making all relevant wipes and ROM does not pass the logo. Nor have I tried to flash no GApps and I want to clarify that Moto E with a single SIM. Can anybody help me? Thank you!!
Make sure your recovery is updated to 3.0.2 and then clean flash cm13 zip first ( sounds weird but this worked for many users). Once it boots fine, clean flash cm14 zip along with 7.0 gapps if you like.
Several Bugs In Sept 14 Release

At 1st i want to thank again for providing us an early preview of cm14.. Lets come to the point, yesterday i flash sept 14 release in my moto e and found several bugs..
1. when i turn on mobile data the network icon converted into kitkat network icon.
2.white app drawer is not fit in the screen (looks un managed)
3.unable to change battery icon.
4.when i check balance the incoming msg not fitting in the screen.
5.the cut sign on the signal looks so ugly.
6.no cm theme app
7.music player , and video player not reading the sd card.
8. audiofx is lagging
another few request related to in built app..
1. plz replace the gallery app from cm13.
2. plz provide any new music app.. which has great buit quality and if possible the provide lyrics feature like musixmatch
a big thank that u minimize the size of google play service and google app.. usually google play service and google app consumes approx 200mb , plz work on app optimization.

Bro cynogenmod 14 is still in it's early stages, this means that it is still under development, and the features like themes, battery icon change, etc will definitely be added in the future.
At this moment CM14 is in it's merging state and this process will complete within few week , then after that you can see new features will be added as and when required

FolderMount is working. But when I flash SuperSU file my sim is not detecting. Without SuperSU sim is working fine

I couldn't resist myself flashing it, but I have moto E as my primary device so cant experiment on it at this moment

How to restore back to previous ROM?

How can you expect everything to be working in pre-alpha stage bro ? .. they haven't released source code officially .. all builds we are getting are from the source which is still in staging state .. you can expect all those things laterwards .. after nightlies begin .. and it'll take some time bro
There are lot of backend changes between marshmallow and nougat .. so it's really gonna be hard to get source code of custom rom to be compatible with nougat
So at this time .. let's report only device related issues
And I know I also reported few issues which were related to source code (especially night mode ) I apologize for reporting such issues

September 14 update
Did a dirty update for the September 14 build over September 11 build.
Installed Gapps Aroma version. Removed stock email, browser, launcher and other all stuffs with google alternative.
The screen is back to normal white from sepia type screen color.
Includes Android Patch built of 6th September.
Download through WiFi is descent.
Scrolling (with animation reduced to 0.5x) is slightly sluggish.
Multi-window has no issue but the screen size of Moto E restricts usefulness to bare limited app.
Yahoo weather CM app though installed but unable to use it since the cClock widget does not give and weather option to select in (weather option is present in cClock widget).
Under 6.0.1 (official CM Condor nightly) the battery use to run dry from 100% to 55% by my sleep time. 7 seems to have made doze more useful, under almost same condition the battery runs down to avg of 63%.
Other daily use apps are running without issues. None issues encountered so far.
Point to Note: When using Gapps (aroma version) try to minimize to selection to as little as possible otherwise Gapps will quit with No Space error
. (FYI : Do not select Chrome (53.1 MB for 320dpi), Maps (50.9 MB for all dpi, 32.2 MB for 320dpi) as these can be installed later on without any constraint

In my case the built in file manager detected the SD card and I was even able to browse all file. (installation of apk from SD card did not happen but with root access even that was resolved).
Gallery too worked for me.

It's an alpha preview build so stick to device specific bugs only. All the cm features will merged very soon. For now consider it as a pure aosp ROM ( with root) and that SD card issue is already being addressed by devs. Will be fixed soon.

Sir, with reverence to the missing features I cited, this was purely a side note and just a remote assessment with CM 13 nightly. In my main post I categorically tried to limit myself close to preview built and gapps supplementing it. This being alpha version, I do apprehend that CM features may/may not be merged as of now.

Man for foldermount to work you need SuperSU binaries.
