I haven't really tested that since I had to flash another ROM because VoLTE isn't stable and it randomly switches on and off now and then.

Try disabling carrier video calling, I was having the same issue but mine had volte for a while then never came back until I disable carrier video calling

Can we somehow flash Xiaomi telephony/radio services (baseband modem etc.) onto the custom ROM. I know I sound like a noob because I am one.

I honestly don't know I'm just user. You can try a different ROM to see which works best for you.

Hello, I'm in 12.5.0.1 Global. Do I need to downgrade to 12.0.3.0 first or just follow the first time flashing instructions?

@mike0069 Do you have crDroid 7 or 8?

I'm currently running 8.2 and I see that 8.4 is available for download in the official website, but on the phone's system updater it just says "No new updates found. To manually check for new updates, use the Refesh button." which I press, but the new update doesn't appear.

Weird issue: If I flash it without the Gapps (MTG) that are linked in the start post, everything works fine. But if I flash MTG after crDroid, I end up with an endless boot logo animation (that no amount of reboots seem to get rid of).

Any ideas?

flash fastboot miui 12.5 android 11 rom, then flash this crdroid.

i had the same issue... i unbricked it using the unbrick guide for the redmi note 9

Hello, I installed crDroid 8.5 on my Redmi Note 9 and I noticed that the built in screen record and the screen cast don't work. The only thing my phone records/casts is a black screen with some glitchy lines that move, i have a screenshot of that. It does the same thing when I screen record with adb and when I use scrcpy. Does anyone have the same problem?
