Thanks for the suggestion, I just tried it and got the same exact score. This is with all apps closed and performance with the above kernel

Edit: Nvm, it worked great I just had to run the kttweaker so it could apply the default settings....getting 4384---still on the low end?

Hey thanks for testing - and for the detailed feedback (and to everyone else who tested).

The bug-fix you were testing is the same one I submitted for review in gerrit (I submitted it as a d2spr specific patch, but I wasn't aware that this hand-off is something that affects all cdma/lte devices so it got moved to an appropriate destination). Hopefully it will be out in builds soon.

You're awesome man. Almost 14 hours and not a single LOS or airplane toggle. Was sitting at a restaurant toggling airplane mode to get the .zip downloaded. Ha! Shout out to the Dallas area beta testers! I probably speak for many when I say thanks would be an understatement, and congrats on it being added for various devices! :thumbup::beer:

The news of the LTE handoff fix is just what I have been waiting for. I was a religous CM user until LTE started being turned on in my area. Then I had to resort to TW to get around the LOS problem.

This will be a good holiday gift for everyone if it indeed fixes the problem.

I haven't used this ROM since the 11/25 nightly and have severe LOS with 3G and/or weak signals compared to a TW ROM, I don't have LTE available yet in my area. Did the more recent nightlies address these issues??

Luckily I'm in an area with a very strong lte connection so I rarely ever loose data, I would love to never have to entercounter that problem again though.

Yeah, push this to System/etc. (Make sure you're on an AOSP rom!!)

This is the exact code that's being reviewed by the CM team. You can test it if you'd like and report back to us.

doesn't it need to be named apns-conf.xml? My existing CM10 didn't contain a file with cmda in the name. I renamed it without the cdma and it's working for me.

Hey, let's give the gerrit review process a chance before this gets taken to the court of public opinion with flash-able zips. I think a bunch of false positives/negatives ("This works for me" "This doesn't work for me") from uninitiated users without any logs provided might hurt the patch more than anything.

At any rate the information is out there, so anyone with basic adb proficiency can make this happen.
