  • Nearly done! Migration cleanup is mostly done. There are a small number of issues left that we continue to work on, but all the heavy lifting is done. IMPORTANT: Be sure your baseband is up to date or this will fail to flash!

CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 5.1.x (Lollipop), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

Code:
#include <std_disclaimer.h>

/*
 * Your warranty is now void.
 *
 * We are not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
 * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
 * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
 * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
 * you point the finger at us for messing up your device, we will laugh at you.
 *
 */
CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit our Gerrit Code Review. Your changelog is whatever was merged into gerrit.

Thanks

Hey bro just want to say thanks for all your hard work and for everything your doing. I was wondering if you would implement the oversharpening mod in cm12.1 like you did on cm11. If not, thanks for all your hard work.

The oversharpening was only there because he didn't take it out yet. Most people want it out, so he is leaving it out. You can get a similar effect, though, by going into Settings > Accessibility > High Contrast Text (or something along those lines, I forget exactly what it's called).

Since I flashed this ROM a few days ago, I've felt like my G3 is on steroids. My daily driver for sure. So far everything is liquid smooth. I get a random disconnect from the Verizon network here and there, but a hard reboot fixes it. Other than that it's pure perfection!

Installed yesterday running smooth as can be. No call forwarding services disabled popups. I can finally get away from stock.

Sent from my LG-VS985 using XDA Free mobile app

Having SOD's fairly frequently. Also have had a weird issue where my touchscreen will stop working after the screen has been woken up.

Side note: Can anyone point me in the direction of a flashable zip for the 23c modem?

3 days in and 12.1 is pretty great so far. Definitely a daily driver if you can put up with a few fixes every now and then. Issues I've been having:
SOD
Losing signal when driving, I guess when it switches towers?
However as someone mentioned before if you reset your apn settings lte comes back quickly

Other than that it's buttery smooth and battery life is a little bit better than cm12 I think

also yes to htc m9 camera port + resolution patch
