Hey I'm new to this thread! Can anyone please give me a list of bugs that are fairly major. Like ones I would notice in everyday use with this rom. I also want to clarify that ota updates work
Thanks for the help!

Enter this in terminal to hide the second sim:
su
setprop persist.radio.multisim.config ""

SystemUI crashes on xt1033 running 20150120 nightly, even with clean install.
That only hide the second icon sim or disable the second sim support?

Hi all,

Is the FC UI issue == launcher restarting itself every time (i.e. icons redrawn from scratch every time and app was closed, even a light one) or shows it an error on screen?

Thanks in advance!

I don't have an answer, but I can say for sure that when I switched from anerik s one to these nightlies, I did it from recovery and I had no problems.

I did the job with phil'z CWM touch: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2201860
OK. Gonna try with OTAs now. I have a backup if something fails.

Sent from my Moto G 16G running Candy5

No, just a install over the last nightly(20). At the end wipe delvik and cache and reboot.
I'm not facing, so far, any issue with FC UI as user shub77 and others user faced. It works peacefully :)
I'm facing only the issue of language/input setting as I mentioned (taping crash it, it sends a message that the definitions was interrupt); It's not a big issue so far, the Swiftkey keyboard is working perfectly as the dictionarys

Hi guys,
Can someone tell me the best way to convert from 1032 converted to gpe 5.01 to CM.

Once I manage to install CM how do I update thereafter...since the updates are frequent... Should I keep flashing every new update or just OTA?

Thanks.

Hideous? But daft punk... This sig ain't going anywhere :)
No problem with Daft Punk, but seriously, it's too big and it's moving. It's actually about 10 times bigger than your actual post.

On topic - there are really no issues in CM now, at least as long as you are a single sim user.
Stability is perfect (ok, I've heard that it crashes for someone once a week, but never seen that myself), battery seems to be on par with stock (if not better), camera issues were fixed last week.
The only thing that bothers quite a few people is that it doesn't multitask too well, but that can be fixed by echoing lower LMK values to minfree and adj (search the forums).

I sent him a smaller one, I hope for the better...

I do agree, I use the minfree values from the script in the first post, present in the anerik's unofficial build's first post too (identical values); those are mandatory to start with, IMHO. I tweaked minfree a bit, lowering the values, but I did not noticed any improvement. I have to look for info about adj tweaks yet, since the ones in the script are identical to the stock ones, as far as I could see.

Although I believe that no miracles are possible in the multitasking compartment with 1 GB of RAM.

Yup, can't expect miracles - stock doesn't multitask particarly well either, but CM with default values kills everything as soon as it isn't in the foreground anymore.

I do agree.
Right now I am using: 0,58,117,176,529,1000 as adj and 12288,15360,18432,21504,24576,30720 as minfree.
I'll try to lower the minfree values again and see what happens.

Oh, btw: the last OTA update kicked away superSU. I suppose this is normal. I am flashing it back to see what happens.

for those having keyboard FC, UI FC, settings FC :

simply do the following :
  1. reboot to recovery,
  2. format /system and /cache,
  3. flash rom+gapps
  4. reboot
  5. you'll see some FC, but doesn't matter
  6. reboot
  7. open app launcher, take "settings" icon and push it into "app infos"
  8. erase data of the app
  9. reboot
you have now lost some settings, and your walpaper, but does that matter much?

And you recommend any specific version of gapps? I'm asking this because I'm using the version of pa_gapps-modular-full-5.0.1-BETA7-20150111a-signed from the first time I began to use CM12 (and leave the CM11)...
