And you recommend any specific version of gapps? I'm asking this because I'm using the version of pa_gapps-modular-full-5.0.1-BETA7-20150111a-signed from the first time I began to use CM12 (and leave the CM11)...

I used to use CM dedicated gapps, but these days i tried PA mini, and now micro pack of gapps
So .. that's a matter of feeling

Before install,i did Wipe to Data, Cache, Dalvin and System

The problem was that my phone gone to low battery and i stuck on flashmode with low battery -- AP FlashMode (S) and i can't get into recovery

i was searching trought forum but i dont get any usefull. Any advice or link ?

boot to bootloader (power+vol_down) and keep charger plugged there, you should see something like battery : charging
wait until fully charged

these builds are still bad. Been over a week now. They refuse to mount system during the install. Any other rom installs no issues. Did a full restore to 4.4.4 stock then to GPE 4.4.4 then to 5.0.1 GPE now on TWRP 2.8.3 GPE still can't flash.

Installed the 19/01 nightly, all well, but I get crashes and phone restarts whenever I'm on whatsapp and typing and in the same time I receive a message or a call. Phone become unresponsive to inputs, then restarts. Just thought I'd mention it in case no one does or no one faced it before.

Had same thing, but with system/cache/ and data... maybe you can try this

No problem with Daft Punk, but seriously, it's too big and it's moving. It's actually about 10 times bigger than your actual post.

On topic - there are really no issues in CM now, at least as long as you are a single sim user.
Stability is perfect (ok, I've heard that it crashes for someone once a week, but never seen that myself), battery seems to be on par with stock (if not better), camera issues were fixed last week.
The only thing that bothers quite a few people is that it doesn't multitask too well, but that can be fixed by echoing lower LMK values to minfree and adj (search the forums).

Just installed it. Works great except it rebooted once when trying to watch a video and a few apps don't work probably because they don't support art. I haven't had any systemui fcs or anything. I'm on the xt1034 us retail

One day and a few hours more with the nightly 21, and one random reboot and a flicker screen after a hibernation that required a reboot, but overall I'm been quite pleased with this rom CM12.

EDIT: A few hours here happens to me something with flciker screen: when the screen turns off, hibernate, and when I get an SMS by viber, when I try to unblock the phone (turn on the screen), that annoying flicker makes me reboot the device, it's impossible to unlock the phone with that flicker and see the sms or do other thing with the device. Anyone?

Flashed CM12 from 5.01gpe. I know the screen flicker is a well known problem for everyone. What will be the solution for this in the future?

Flash a different Kernel? I recommend TGM-Hybrid. Also make sure your set to performance instead of balanced in performance settings.
