CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

Code:
#include <std_disclaimer.h>

/*
 * Your warranty is now void.
 *
 * We are not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
 * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
 * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
 * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
 * you point the finger at us for messing up your device, we will laugh at you.
 *
 */
CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit our Gerrit Code Review.

Google apps addon:
OpenGapps: http://opengapps.org/ (you'll want a zip for the ARM platform, Android version 6.0)
HEADS UP: Be sure you flash the gapps package with your rom. If you boot your rom, then go back and try to flash gapps after the fact, you're gonna have a bad time.

I just flashed it. it boots and is fast with low ram usage.
Got one soft reboot. did not try calling. but wifi worked fine and lte worked too.
The wifi calling support that was announced on 10/31/15 is not functional yet that I could find.
I would not call it a DD yet.

Facebook and Messenger not working. Camera app won't even load, and causes a soft reboot when you try. Snapchat soft reboots when you try to log in.

Also, whenever you restart the phone (and on the very first boot) about half of the screen is offset from the other half. It's like one half of the screen has been scooted ten pixels or so above the other half. This is really hard to explain, and the problem seems to fix itself before I can screenshot it (so it's not a big issue right now)

That issue is caused by the lollipop bootloader. You should flash the KitKat (10R) bootloader.

Thanks for your work on this. I had no flashing issues, and I ran into the same snap chat thing that has been mentioned. I also could not pair a Bluetooth le device with the phone. Which might be a carry over issue from lollipop.

Gps Now Working

I'll look into it
Installed 11/26 nightly and tried GPS and again another soft boot. Turned GPS off, started maps and of course no problem. Tried again after turning GPS on and again hit with soft boot. Came back to it some time later thinking WTF might as well and low and behold all is well. All apps that utilize GPS which is nearly everything these days seems to be running fine.

I can not explain it but am happy! It's now a DD.

For those with BLE devices, can you test the patch attached below and see if you can pair your BLE device?
The patch worked for my Garmin 225! Thanks so much for your work! This is the first time I've been able to pair a ble device with my phone since turning to custom roms.

On an unrelated note, how come this ROM doesn't ask to reinstall apps from the play store on initial boot?

Stable so far. I appreciate the clock and battery options. Enhanced 4G LTE Mode looks interesting. I'll have to read up on that. The rom runs very smooth. :good:
