Getting error after latest 14.1 update this morning and rebooting:

"com.android.phone has stopped"

If I select mute the message goes away. "No SIM card" icon shows at top right. Phone calls are NOT working for me.

I'm using Chit Chat Mobile (Sprint towers).

OK guys, we need a few folks to test this build. This is CM14.1 7.1.1 Main thing we need tested is ril! Check to make sure incoming/outgoing calls work & you can hear the other person & they hear you. Check MMS & SMS. If all this is confirmed working we will push d2spr for official nightlies. All credit goes to @javelinanddart for the build & CM for keeping d2 alive.

Be sure to use 7.1.1 gapps. There's a few if you do a quick search. I had a good experience with Opengapps Nano.
Downloading now. Can't wait to test. Thanks guys!!!

Incoming/outgoing calls not working

I'm using Chit Chat Mobile (Sprint MVNO - on Sprint Towers). CM always worked prior to 14.1.

I've tried:

androidfilehost com /?fid=385035244224406072

And I've tried 12/19/2016 CM nightly build.

Error says:

com.android.phone has stopped
X Close app
^ Mute until device restarts

Selecting "Close app" just keeps looping back to error. I have to select "Mute until device restarts" to get to the home screen, but I get a "No SIM card" error on top.

Try wiping everything including internal storage and then flash

Just flashed and set up. Running fine. A couple apps, including Google, had to be started a couple times at first. But smooth sailing now. I'm on virgin mobile. Kinda miss Xposed but I'll get over it. Been wanting nougat for a while now, thanks again!!

Won't I have to reinstall all my apps? How about my contacts? I guess that's an easy import, but I haven't done it previously.
Your contacts will come back as soon as you log in to your Google account. I backed up my apps to external with titanium and batch restored. Easy peasy.

I'm LKJEFoi234 (was at work and didn't have my login information). I don't have GAPPS though. Just going to use backup apps, hopefully that will work.

NO

Still unable to get past the Galaxy S III screen on first reboot from recovery unfortunately :(
Running CWM 6.0.1.2
Is special formatting necessary?
I used TWRP 2.8.7.2 on my tester and all is well, although it is an early build, I wiped everything including internal! last night I dirty flashed 12/20 release and still all is well. TWRP 3.0.2.0 is said to work fine too. BTW on CM 13.0 I had trouble using their recovery that's why I went to TWRP.

Thank you for this! Flashed on my D2SPR and 3G works fine, no LTE for some reason though even when flashing fixes. No crashes, good battery life, everything seems to work great. :D

That's how I usually flash new roms and you can also backup all your internal memory to your computer if you need to

Thank you! I wiped everything and it works great now.

Is there any pain-free way to back up everything so that it is actually accessible and transferable when a new version of Android is released (i.e., 8.1.1)? I was able to backup my contacts fine, but had to reinstall all my apps and reset my settings, etc.

I tried Titanium, but couldn't get it to work.

This new release is pretty nice btw. Thank you to the devs.

CM 13

I was going to download some CM roms but I don't see any CM 13 on the CM download site . It jumps from 12.1 to 14 . Did CM not support 13 officially for the d2spr ? Anyone know what the latest CM 13.1 build was and where I could get it ? Thanks

Yes there was a cm 13. I have a copy, I'll upload to my Dropbox and shoot a link. Soon as I get home on my WiFi. I think I have the 11/4 build, works well with xposed. Builds after that have trouble.

Any idea what's going to happen now with development that CM is officially gone?
I know Vanir is still going to continue building for this device . I'm about to install last night's 14.1 Commotio build . I think DHO is already switched or switching from the CM tree to the LineageOS tree . I guess we'll see where it all goes before long .

Thanks @madbat99 , will watch for it .

DHO says " Nightlies uploading soon. On Commotio I am running 48 of the 95 supported Vanir devices today. Currently on #46/48

Testing a few new small features, device fixes, and of course if your device was on a CM tree, it has now been swapped to LNG "
