Gapps version: mindthegapps 12.1 ARM64

Did you--
wipe: yes
restore with titanium backup: no
reboot after having the issue: only into recovery per the instructions

I followed the guide and everything went smoothly. However, after installing LOS and rebooting to recovery again, I attempt to install mindthegapps and it fails repeatedly with "Could not mount /mnt/system! Aborting" I've tried manually mounting /system in Recovery and it still fails with this error code.

** Edit: Re-installed LOS a 3rd time from recovery and it installed mindthegapps fine. No clue what the issue was.

unlocked bootloader on a tmobile nord n200
it is converted to a global version with the guide here
i fastboot the custome recovery as shown in the guide and it boot loops!!
any ideas?
I couldn't tell you why it does this... But I had this problem when I converted as well.

Go back to tmobile firmware (make sure you the android 11 April security patch version) and then flash.

Please Help me i am getting error (Updator process ended with an error 1)
ErrorCode:: kInstallDeviceOpenError)
• i have got this error while installing lineage os in my Nord N200. please Help me to Solve this Error 😔🥺
I get the same, followed the steps religiously, checked md5s read the process like 5 times before trying, although it might be worth mentioning in the factory reset stage I get metadata/oem and metadata missing errors too, then i get this same ....DeviceOpenError and when I try to reboot system I get a warning that the install failed I continue and boots to bootloader

I need to ask so I don't break my nord. I didn't see this posted in here so I'll ask, is it ok to use the lineage updater inside the rom? Thank for any help provided also thank you for putting this rom out there because I am much happier using this instead of T-Mobiles bloated down BS.

Yes. The odds of lineage updater breaking your phone is close to non-existent.

Regarding the "Ensuring all firmware partitions are consistent" steps, I've got the lineage recovery loaded from the prior step, and have rebooted to the lineage Recovery, and I'm unable to ADB (so fastboot devices gives a blank result).

I've also gone in the Recovery menu to "Advanced" -> "Enable ADB" option and still no luck.

My device is on Android 11, not 12. It is a brand new unit, all reset, so no apps installed or anything.

LineageOS version: 19.1
LineageOS Download url: https://saimei.ftp.acc.umu.se/mirro.../lineage-19.1-20220817-nightly-dre-signed.zip, recovery https://laotzu.ftp.acc.umu.se/mirro...220817/lineage-19.1-20220817-recovery-dre.img

EDIT: OK I figured it. In the instructions for the next stage I notice you have to reboot to recovery, THEN go "Apply Update”, then "Apply from ADB”, and once I did that, all was good.

I do have another issue now. I thought the issue might have been the download, so I went to an earlier recovery (https://mirrorbits.lineageos.org/recovery/dre/20220803/lineage-19.1-20220803-recovery-dre.img) and installed the matching firmware (https://mirrorbits.lineageos.org/full/dre/20220803/lineage-19.1-20220803-nightly-dre-signed.zip)

Anyhow, when I use the internal updater to update to latest I'm getting an install error. I can't see any error details, but the notification that shows just says "Install Error. Suspend". I also tried the prior update lineage-19.1-20220810 and same error.

I see on my phone there was a new build. I'm currently on the prior build (lineage-19.1-20220824-nightly-dre-signed.zip), but when in Android I go to apply the update I just get an error notification saying "Suspend"

Anyone else managed to get an update to work on the phone? I had the same issue when I was first setting it up and had installed lineage-19.1-20220810-nightly-dre-signed.zip, and no luck here so I actually just started again.

I can't quite understand the instructions here "https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/dre/update" for the command line as it still seems to require you run the update itself via the Android settings updater anyhow, so I expect I would have the same issue.

It'd be nice if you could just sideload it like you do when you say upgrade form Lineage 18 to 19 (I've done on other Lineage devices).

You can just sideload that build in recovery. If you installed any addons (like Gapps or Magisk), you will need to reboot to the newer recovery and sideload them again.

Ah great. I sort of suspected that was the case.

Anyone get the update to work via the Android settings?

EDIT: At any rate, yes the sideload worked fine. I did update the latest recovery first (eg as in the install instructions), then rebooted into sideload and worked fine.

I've updated via the system>update like 3 times now with no issues. I have made sure to disable anything like lsposed, universalfix and props config before installing but not sure if thats even necessary.

For anyone else that hits this snag that held me up for a few days, I would like to tell them as I kick myself for not following the instructions verbatim, UPDATE TO THE LATEST SECURITY PATCH LEVEL IN OXYGEN OS, else it will never work... I know its already in the instructions, but I thought I already had the latest and couldn't understand why I could get no further, low and behold, there was an update that I needed for this to install.. Problem arises from the fact I had a notification that system update failed and ultimately had to repartition and reflash stock OOS and then update to the latest sec patch, all before install the Lineage ROM would complete without error... But it was worth all the work and wait for sure!!! I'm dealing with audio loss that prevents ringing when I get a call or speakerphone right now though if anyone has a suggestion.

Thanks, this ROM made me realize that I don't hate my phone, I hate OxygenOS.

Everyone should hate OxygsnOS on non-flagship oneplus devices.
Oneplus puts ZERO effort into optimizing OxygenOs for its budget devices.

Not that I had that issue, but how do you update to the latest patch without it upgrading to Android 12? Eg keep it on Android 11 but still update?
I had auto system update turned off in developer options, but still every week or so it would alert me that my security settings were out of date, but I wrote the comment you referred to before Android 12 was available for the n200, so I may have just ran system update

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 12, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS GitHub repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit our Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

    Instructions:
    Downloads:
    Reporting Bugs:
    • DO NOT report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed.
    • Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
    • If it is a random reboot, grab /sys/fs/pstore/console-ramoops and /sys/fs/pstore/dmesg-ramoops-0. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
    • If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.

Has anyone tried on a DE2118 (tmobile) yet?
Works just fine on the DE2118 if you get the bootloader unlocked.
