Whatever this was, doing an in-place upgrade to the 20230301 release fixed it. This might have been a regression in the LineageOS version I was using.
My experience is the opposite. Stock was fine and then when I moved to Lineage, I noticed that my screen was going far darker than it should. The brightness bias is too low.how is auto brightness on this?
it's broken AF for me on stock.
I'm seeing that too. Auto brightness gets far too dark. Had to turn it off. Don't recall how it was on stock.when I moved to Lineage, I noticed that my screen was going far darker than it should.
yeah, that's how it is for me on stock. every morning when I pick it up I can't read anything until I turn it up. I figured it would fix itself in a few days like with other phones but it never did so I turned it off.I'm seeing that too. Auto brightness gets far too dark. Had to turn it off. Don't recall how it was on stock.
Is there any news on that? Lineageos make this phone really unusable. Here is the crash message I was talking about.View attachment 5802037

I had auto system update turned off in developer options, but still every week or so it would alert me that my security settings were out of date, but I wrote the comment you referred to before Android 12 was available for the n200, so I may have just ran system updateNot that I had that issue, but how do you update to the latest patch without it upgrading to Android 12? Eg keep it on Android 11 but still update?
Everyone should hate OxygsnOS on non-flagship oneplus devices. Thanks, this ROM made me realize that I don't hate my phone, I hate OxygenOS.
