I followed the instructions on Lineage's website for this device, bought it from walmart outright and activated it with Total by Verizon. Only issue I had was receiving text messages until I popped the sim card out, restarted the phone and then reinserted the tray, then a day's worth of texts came flooding in and I haven't had a single issue since.

Great ROM!!!!!!

I use Verizon and I haven't had messages since 19.1 they'll flood then stop again the same week. Its a joke.

Ohhh okay sorry. Ignore me new ask

Lmao if you were smart he said he fixed it. Yet it didnt so I was asking again lmfao. Idc about your opinion
some issues were fixed, but if you could read you would see there are still issues and for the records he never said he fixed those specific issues, he said

"or at the very least, it should fix passing the echo test mentioned earlier in this thread"
"Just because it's not on GitLab does not mean I'm not aware of the issue"

however BigLOnline you can keep asking same question though over and over and being rude until a mod bans you, dont really need people with your annoyingly rude and demanding attitude in the community.

Here's an update for the owners of T-Mobile version of N200 5G (DE2118). I had the phone free for a while, so I took the plunge and tried it out afresh:

  1. I followed the instructions here , updated the DE2117 Android 12 to the latest May 2023 update.
  2. I then installed Lineageos20 (May 31st nightly) and MindTheGapps for Android 13.
  3. Everything seems to work EXCEPT FOR THE SD CARD. This includes WiFi, switching between WiFi and Data, calls (both directly and via Google Voice). All the regular applications I install seem to be working fine.
While I do miss having the SD card (whose main job is retaining long term data between phone wipes and reinstalls), it is not a big deal. So, I am very happy to have an (almost) fully functional LOS 20 on this terrific device.

Anyone having AP disconnection issues? Whenever I walk out of the room the AP disconnects. I get a solid connection when in the same room with the router, I know this isn't my router because I've never had the issue before lin 20, don't rush , just curious

Is anyone else having issues with slow mobile data and SMS messages not coming though unless the SIM card was removed/disabled and reinserted/enabled? I've tried both the official builds and compiling myself with both having the same issues. Both have been tested with/without gapps and factory reset.

I'm still on LineageOS 19.1. Is see there's been several LineageOS 20.0 updates pushed to the N200, most recently from June 14th 2023. Can anyone who's running the latest LOS 20.0 tell me if SD card access is still borked?

I update fairly regularly and sd card access is still borked. you can access it at the cost of your sim card by popping the tray out just a tiny bit, but overall it's still not working. I hope the devs can figure this out soon, but apparently the issue is really unclear.

Hello! Need some advise here regarding Lineage OS 20:

I have a DE2117 with a cracked screen. It's a good phone so I want to fix it up and give it to my husband, who uses currently uses Verizon on another cracked-up phone. It's very important his phone is reliable at work. I am thinking of rooting and flashing one of the Oxygen 13 Rom's here. The reason: On the latest stock Android 12, the Nord 200 is lagging a lot (in spite of reformatting.) I've heard this is an Android 12 annoyance.

Before I go through all that trouble, my question is: With the current Lineage OS 19/20 problems I'm reading about will he have connection or texting issues if, for example, he goes to the basement and the phone switches back and forth from wifi-mode? He doesn't have the time or patience to be pulling SIM cards and such. (He's tech savvy, though, and enjoy's messing with Exposed mods when he has time.)

Would you recommend I try this Rom on the phone, or another Lineage OS, or just format to Oxygen, rooted Android 11 in his case?

Thanks in advance!

Back again. I've noticed that VoWiFi has stopped working. Not sure what happened.

(I used ForceLTE app to access this menu, since dialing #*#*4636#*#* no longer works)

LOS functionality is still buggy at this time, at least from my experience. I can't get VoWiFi to work on the latest build, and messages don't come in until the SIM card is reinserted at least once after reboots.

What I would do if I were you is use the unofficial Pixel Experience ROM. I used it before, and it worked more reliably than vanilla LOS (and hey, you get all sorts of cool bells and whistles). I switched back to LOS since I wasn't too keen on the lack of official support, and the lack of the PE Plus variant.

Just double-check if your firmware is up to date. Judging by your post, it likely is. Otherwise, go back to stock ROM for a moment and get it on the latest A12 update.

Edit: I would wait, I heard that they're bundling the latest firmware in a new build coming soon.

Edit 2: Tested again, seems I was wrong about VoWiFi. Looks like it's borked atm.
Edit 3: I tried everything, and it seems like WiFi calling is broken at the moment. I have made a bug report: https://gitlab.com/LineageOS/issues/android/-/issues/6032

Workaround for the SMS not received issue (which my device has): After every reboot of the N200, turn the SIM off and back on once.

Have you tried latest yet -> 20230830
Yes, i updated to the latest yesterday with some hope. But no luck. Still couldn't receive sms/text.

(sms/text is very crucial for me. I tried PixelExperience ROM and my phone started receives sms/text :) . So, i guess the issue is with Lineage OS)

I followed the instructions to update the firmware, downloaded latest Full OTA, flashed img files, but now stuck in Fastboot mode. Cannot boot into Recovery nor Bootloader.
    Any suggestions ?

I am currently on LOS 19 and am looking into upgrade to 20 but reading this thread and other posts online I get the impression that upgrade 20 carries some common risks:

    * SMS issues
    * SD issues
    * Voice call issues

it's hard to decipher which are current or not, but given the fact that there's no Nandroid backup on N200 for me to do a full-device backup/restore - I'd like to know whether any of the above are still active issues? My N200 is a daily driver and I can't quite afford missing functions from the list above and not have an option to quickly rollback. (mind you, my LOS 19 install has MMS busted, but that's "livable" comparing to any of the above).

    Not Receiving SMS Temporary Fix

    Thanks for the tip.(y)

Does this work after an OTA update?

I've read some posts saying to eject the SIM tray, reboot & re-insert it after an update.
    ***
Yes it does work after every OTA update. I've been checking it every week to see if anything has changed in that regard.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 13, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS GitHub repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit our Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

    Instructions:

    Reporting Bugs:
    • DO NOT report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed.
    • Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
    • If it is a random reboot, grab /sys/fs/pstore/console-ramoops and /sys/fs/pstore/dmesg-ramoops-0. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
    • If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.

I also installed the new update. and am also still experiencing my sd card not being recognized by anything on my phone
This is a known issue that I have been struggling to fix for a while. Right now, the temporary fix is to have the SD card tray stick out slightly, but you lose mobile data in the process.

I had the exact same problem. My SMS stopped working about 2 days after flashing for some reason. I could send messages to my work phone (S20FE5G) and got them fine, but no incoming messages.
Ok, I read either on another LOS forum here or on reddit but someone mentioned a fix was to reboot with a different sim card and it apparently repaired the connectivity issue (not sure if it was permanent) . So without an additional sim card, I just removed my sim card and rebooted my phone. When it restarted it was connected to wifi. I then put the simcard tray back and all of the missed sms messages came flooding through. For now, I can receive sms and calls on carrier number but the *#*#4636#*#* info via dial pad still does not work

Here's the logcat I took of when I inserted the SD card. I also submitted a bug report but figure I would follow up on here. I'm using a legit 2117 as far as I know. I bought it unlocked. I did have to use MSM tools and reflash the device though, not sure if that matters.

Like others have said, pretty much the rest of my device to my knowledge works fine. Just the SD card doesn't get read by anything in the system.

Trying to download I get error 502, can someone please post links to alternate downloads if you can upload and share pls, Ill really appreciate it. Is it that whole downlod section of lineage down? Or is it just me? I tried couple of proxy servers and got same error.

It's not just you, I'm also getting the error "Request failed with status code 502" from the builds page. I'm also getting an error in the LineageOS System Updater: "The update check failed. Please check your internet connection and try again later." I assume it'll be restored soon.

Alternate download link (obtained from Official LineageOS discord): https://mirrors.dotsrc.org/lineageos/full/dre/
