Ohhh okay sorry. Ignore me new askdev is working on it, he knows there are wifi/ap/cell signal issues with the lineage v20 rom
Lmao if you were smart he said he fixed it. Yet it didnt so I was asking again lmfao. Idc about your opinionhow many times are you going to ask the same question and get the same answer?
I use Verizon and I haven't had messages since 19.1 they'll flood then stop again the same week. Its a joke.I followed the instructions on Lineage's website for this device, bought it from walmart outright and activated it with Total by Verizon. Only issue I had was receiving text messages until I popped the sim card out, restarted the phone and then reinserted the tray, then a day's worth of texts came flooding in and I haven't had a single issue since.
Great ROM!!!!!!
I called 611611 and made sure they had all of their networking correct on their end just to be safe. I'll post here again if I have to continually pop the sim card out to get messages to work again but so far so goodI use Verizon and I haven't had messages since 19.1 they'll flood then stop again the same week. Its a joke.
some issues were fixed, but if you could read you would see there are still issues and for the records he never said he fixed those specific issues, he saidOhhh okay sorry. Ignore me new ask

I didn't notice any changes. Once I popped out the SIM last update the texts were able to be received. The screen continues to come on after it times out but if you hit the power button the screen remains off.How are OTA updates? Should I download and install or just download on PC and sideload it?
Do I sideload it or can I just update through the OS?I didn't notice any changes. Once I popped out the SIM last update the texts were able to be received. The screen continues to come on after it times out but if you hit the power button the screen remains off.
I think OS updater. I tried to do it through Magisk to keep root and had to format and start over.
Gotta use oxygen updater and get the zip
I update fairly regularly and sd card access is still borked. you can access it at the cost of your sim card by popping the tray out just a tiny bit, but overall it's still not working. I hope the devs can figure this out soon, but apparently the issue is really unclear.I'm still on LineageOS 19.1. Is see there's been several LineageOS 20.0 updates pushed to the N200, most recently from June 14th 2023. Can anyone who's running the latest LOS 20.0 tell me if SD card access is still borked?
Hello! Need some advise here regarding Lineage OS 20:
I have a DE2117 with a cracked screen. It's a good phone so I want to fix it up and give it to my husband, who uses currently uses Verizon on another cracked-up phone. It's very important his phone is reliable at work. I am thinking of rooting and flashing one of the Oxygen 13 Rom's here. The reason: On the latest stock Android 12, the Nord 200 is lagging a lot (in spite of reformatting.) I've heard this is an Android 12 annoyance.
Before I go through all that trouble, my question is: With the current Lineage OS 19/20 problems I'm reading about will he have connection or texting issues if, for example, he goes to the basement and the phone switches back and forth from wifi-mode? He doesn't have the time or patience to be pulling SIM cards and such. (He's tech savvy, though, and enjoy's messing with Exposed mods when he has time.)
Would you recommend I try this Rom on the phone, or another Lineage OS, or just format to Oxygen, rooted Android 11 in his case?
Thanks in advance!

Yes, i updated to the latest yesterday with some hope. But no luck. Still couldn't receive sms/text.
Yes it does work after every OTA update. I've been checking it every week to see if anything has changed in that regard. Not Receiving SMS Temporary Fix
Thanks for the tip.
Does this work after an OTA update?
I've read some posts saying to eject the SIM tray, reboot & re-insert it after an update.

This is a known issue that I have been struggling to fix for a while. Right now, the temporary fix is to have the SD card tray stick out slightly, but you lose mobile data in the process.I also installed the new update. and am also still experiencing my sd card not being recognized by anything on my phone
Ok, I read either on another LOS forum here or on reddit but someone mentioned a fix was to reboot with a different sim card and it apparently repaired the connectivity issue (not sure if it was permanent) . So without an additional sim card, I just removed my sim card and rebooted my phone. When it restarted it was connected to wifi. I then put the simcard tray back and all of the missed sms messages came flooding through. For now, I can receive sms and calls on carrier number but the *#*#4636#*#* info via dial pad still does not workI had the exact same problem. My SMS stopped working about 2 days after flashing for some reason. I could send messages to my work phone (S20FE5G) and got them fine, but no incoming messages.
Trying to download I get error 502, can someone please post links to alternate downloads if you can upload and share pls, Ill really appreciate it. Is it that whole downlod section of lineage down? Or is it just me? I tried couple of proxy servers and got same error.
It's not just you, I'm also getting the error "Request failed with status code 502" from the builds page. I'm also getting an error in the LineageOS System Updater: "The update check failed. Please check your internet connection and try again later." I assume it'll be restored soon.
