A12 coming out?????????
So, like I mentioned; feel free to stick your head in the Telegram channel while we're still beta testing crDroid 8.x & preparing for an official release.
Probably means you weren't updated to 126.96.36.199 firmware on both slots.Hi there,
First of all, thanks for the work!
I'm having an issue here: I just updated to CrDroid 7.19 on my OP6 (enchilada) and now my phone is unable to start properly. It goes through the booting, but is stuck on "Phone is starting..." screen when I unlock it.
I'm still able to access the settings application (through the drop down menu), but it always end up rebooting after a few minutes.
Any hint? Thanks!
Hey, thanks for the reply !Probably means you weren't updated to 188.8.131.52 firmware on both slots.
See the instructions & links in the first post: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...0-crdroid-android-v7-19.4216551/post-84270715
That is literally the hint.Hey, thanks for the reply !
Are you talking about OxygenOS ? But I was already on CrDroid (v7.10~?). That was after doing an OTA update that the problem started D:
Anyway I got impatient and tried to dirty flash CrDroid's 7.x on both slots and wiped Dalvik and System cache, maybe some other partition but I can't remember. And now it doesn't even boot. I'm trying to retrieve as much data as possible at this point. Especially from my work profile.
I know I have messed up, but if you have any hint that would help me that would be awesome!
As far as I know, we have call recording capability force-enabled regardless of region, so if you're using the stock dialer, you can always use the button (and bear any legal responsibilities). I'm not a huge fan of Google Apps packages that remove/replace the stock dialer & messaging apps; in Android 11 I'd recommend using a smaller package like NikGApps core plus necessary addons (or MindTheGapps; can't remember if it replaces AOSP dialer or messages or not... I run MinMicroG instead for my daily driver).Hello everyone,
First of all, I would like to give my huge thanks all the developers for their wonderful efforts.
Secondly, i am looking for a custom rom which has in built automate call recording. i have been going through forms but couldn't find one.
I am looking for stability only + automate call recording feature.
I am currently using OnePlus 6 OOS 10.3.12.
If someone knows please do let me know.
Thanks xda for making such a great platform.
My english is not so perfect. Does that mean that later on OnePlus 7, 8 and 9, it was easier for ROMers to build their own vendor partition ? Why, what has changed compared to OnePlus 6 ?So for fixing a lot of the issues we still face with lack of things working quite right, or hardware features not available in custom ROMs (especially compared to newer OnePlus devices like the 7, 8, or 9 series), we're kinda stuck, because you can't just implement it against the stock prebuilt vendor.
I don't know what changed, other than developers who had the time/interest to do the work.@Terminator.J, very instructive first post. I have a question about that vendor partition:

Before buying a phone, is there a way to know how if ROMers would be able to build for this device ?
