Hello,
Could you please write in English language?
I haven't got the answer to your question: "Hello developer, when will the A12-based version come out?"

Hi,

I upgraded from LOS 17.1 to 18.1 by following the official instructions here https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/enchilada/upgrade

It's working really well.

But .. I'm wondering ... I'm still on the lastest Vendor security patch from Oxygen 10 (here : https://www.oneplus.com/fr/support/softwareupgrade/details?code=PM1574156173727)

Do I need do upgrade it too with the following one ? https://otafsg1.h2os.com/patch/amaz...1_OTA_0610_all_2109171645_3d7e69fe95cea09.zip

And if so with this method ? https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/enchilada/fw_update

Thanks for any answer/tips !

Regards,

Yes to all of these. Staying on OOS10 vendor will give you non working WiFi and Dash charging on LOS 18.1

Hello,
I am planning to migrate to LOS 18.1 from OOS 11.1.1.1.
I know I will loose video recording in [email protected], but I will use [email protected] instead.
It seems good to use MindTheGapps, instead of OpenGapps.

BTW I read carefully instructions on first page.
Do I need to backup EFS partitions (that contain EMEI information), and if yes box can I do this step from LOS recovery?

Yes, MindTheGapps works well.
As for the EFS partitions - I never backed those up and everything is fine. I don't think you can back these up via LOS recovery. You should be fine either way, as essentially by flashing LOS you override the system partition, and LOS recovery overrides the boot partition.

Thank you for your tips and advices.
Today I migrated my OP6 from OOS 11.1.1.1 to LOS 18.1 and everyhting seems OK, except Google Pay.
I installed MindTheGapps.
I manually configure apps, and my credit card won't finished setup because Google Pay cannot be used on custom rom or rooted device. I didn't rooted my OP6.
Do I need to use magisk to hide things to certify my device, or is there another process?

Yeah, I use Magisk Hide for banking apps, works fine

Hmm, have same problem with flashing from oos 11. Everything is working, but I don't know of limitation with [email protected] I checked it in gcam and have only [email protected] available.

It's where a way to fix this afterwards? Maybe flashing only Oos 11 vendors?

I'm currently on 18.1-20211102-nightly, and Dash is not working.

It was previously working, but it was a really old build. On that old build, there was an old proprietary Bluetooth blob that broke the NFC BT quick connect.

On the 18.1-20211102-nightly build (just after the release of OOS), that bug was fixed, but Dash wasn't working anymore.

I'm currently upgrading to 18.1-20211116.

EDIT: Just finished upgrading, I confirm Dash is NOT being negotiated with the Charger.

Are you on a A10 fw basis, or A11?

@LuK1337 It is possible to get something similar to this commit for OP6?

It will be a pretty great QoL improvement as there have been many times I connect phone for charging and it was not Dash Charging and only way for me to check was to check in app like Ampere or wait a while to realize its charging very slow. The above commit from cheeseburger/dumpling is very handy as it shows on lock screen.

    Hey guys,

Since OnePlus has finally dropped support for the OP6 I wanted to see if installing LineageOS is still as easy as with my OnePlus One years ago.

The first post isn't quite clear to me. Can anyone point me to a instruction that includes all the steps?

    Thanks!
Follow the official guide. But Please don't flash the Jan 11th nightly build. It's buggy and cause to stuck on bootanimation. Go with 220104 build. That is working really good for me. Or wait for another build this week.

I was in the same situation and used this tutorial with the 20220104 build, because some people had problems with the 20220111 build (updated on it afterwards with no issues). Instead of the microG builds, I downloaded the it directly from the LineageOS website 😄 If you want to use it as an instruction, I would recommend to watch it first and then go thru step by step, because he made some mistakes, which he corrects afterwards. As for the GApps I used "MindtheGApps" as recommend.

To answer my own question: Yes, I had to use the Qualcom tools.

    How to enable VoLTE:
    1. Enable in settings and see if it works
    2. If yes, good, you're done. If no, follow this guide: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...geos-17-1-for-eu-carriers-oneplus-6t.4119785/

Important: Backup your EFS Partition before applying any changes. You delete a config, which I dont know if it could be necessary at some point, or if you delete some other config by accident.

Remark: You do not need magisk. It is enough to enable ADB + ADB root in developer settings. You can enable adb root by typing "adb root". When you then enter "adb shell", you have root permission. Also the mentionend "setprop" command didnt work. This one works: "setprop sys.usb.config diag,serial_cdev,rmnet,adb"
Omg, I had already given up on this, thank you so much, I got volte and vowifi working now, awesome

In b4 don't ask for ETAs, I know...
But does anyone know if @LuK1337 is working on lineageos 19 for enchilada, or anyone else for that matter. Last year he had an early test build ready in October, now it's December. I'm definitely not complaining, just wondering if someone puts effort into this or if I will have to look for another device soon.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 11, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

    Instructions :
    Downloads :
    Reporting Bugs
    • DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
    • Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
    • If it is a random reboot, grab /sys/fs/pstore/console-ramoops and /sys/fs/pstore/dmesg-ramoops-0. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
    • If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.

    Code:
    What is your--
    LineageOS version:
    LineageOS Download url:
    Gapps version:

    Did you--

    reboot after having the issue:

    Are you using--
    a task killer:

Provide any additional information (observations/frequency of problem/last version it worked on/etc) as needed:

If anybody is curious, Ive been crawling through the code commits. Unfortunately, it looks like both Enchilada and Fajita will have to wait for some time due to issues that were encountered when booting. At least for Fajita. It will be some time until we get our first official build.

UPDATE 1: Both Enchilada and Fajita have been reverted from the hudson branch, which indicates official commit status has been reversed. Our savior Luk has got hands full with work on these issues I imagine, so wait times will extend. Hang tight lads! We will land on Hudson soon, I hope.

UPDATE 2: That was quick! Seems like Luk figured out the issue for Fajita and has opened a commit to merge fajita to 18.1 official again. Fajita and enchilada are merged to the Hudson branch once again. This is good news, and I am hoping that the enchilada build will be posted and merged on schedule.

Anyone else having touchscreen issues with the latest build? Like not responding to some touches and not being able to pull down the notification shade?

Edit: reverted to last week's build and the issue is gone. So some commit messes with the touchscreen.
