Anyone here familiar with using USB controllers on the 6T? The Backbone One controller doesn't seem to work. Though Lineage does register an external device and only seems to charge it.

I'm on OOS11.1.2.2 if I want to switch to A13 I have to
- Flash TWRP-3.6.2_11-OP6xT.zip from existing recovery
-reboot to TWRP
- Flash TWRP-3.7.0_12-fajita.zip
- reboot to TWRP
- in TWRP -> wipe -> factory reset
- reboot to TWRP -> wipe -> format data -> yes
- reboot to TWRP
- install OOS + LOS-20 ROM + MindTheGapps-13.0.0-arm64+ TWRP 3.6.2_12-2.zip
- reboot to TWRP -> wipe -> format data -> yes
- reboot to system
Can someone confirm or correct if this is correct?
Thank you!

Strange, because there are serious security issues and March patches fixes them.
Are they critical security issues? I'm sure they will be pulled for the next nightly.
At the end of the day from understanding, the maintainers are volunteering their time. When other real life issues come up, they take precedence over other things.
There are 2 other ROMs that have the updated patches if you need it asap.

Any update on the SMS issues on Verizon? I basically haven't had working texting for weeks.
Same here. I finally found a workaround of just installing Messages By Google and using that as my default texting app. It has an "Enable Chat Features" setting that connects to Verizon over wifi and my SMS has been working flawlessly after I enabled it and rebooted my phone.

I'm not happy about using a Google app (and to be honest, I don't know if it works when not on wifi) but it's something. I'm still hoping for a full fix so I can uninstall Google Messages but I'd rather have working SMS with Google than nothing at all. I hope it works for you too!

Try this:
Code:
adb root
adb remount
adb shell "sed -i '/persist.vendor.radio.apm_sim_not_pwdn/a persist.vendor.radio.mt_sms_ack=30' /vendor/build.prop"
adb reboot

And let me know if it makes a difference.
Just tried those steps and I received a couple of the sms messages I'd missed, so that's encouraging. I'll want to give it a day or so to ensure it's a full fix though. My workaround of using Messages By Google stopped working so I wonder if that workaround actually only worked immediately after a reboot.

I'll let you know if it's still working tomorrow. Thanks!

SMS messages still seem to be working fine, thanks @EdwinMoq!

Hello, apologies if this has been reported already. Since last week's update (3/23), I often see some text under the fingerprint scanner in the lock screen, which should not be there. I took 2 screenshots, one that says that it is charging, even hours after I had unplugged my phone.

The other appears more frequently saying "Unlock for all features and data", which I think should only appear when you just boot the phone, but not after that.

Just confirming that this issue remains in this week's build. Doesn't affect functionality, it's just aesthetic. Otherwise everything works great!

Whoops, nightly build was just a couple hours before the May security patches got merged, I guess we'll wait another week for it. :)

    Hello together,
I am on LineageOS 19, last build with google Apps.
    Can I dirty-flash upgrade to LineageOS 20?
    If yes, how?

Jus flashed today's build and went fine. Wifi works even with Magisk. And Magisk survived OTA.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 13, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

    Instructions:

    Reporting Bugs
    • DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
    • Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
    • If it is a random reboot, grab /sys/fs/pstore/console-ramoops and /sys/fs/pstore/dmesg-ramoops-0. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
    • If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.

Are banking apps and google wallet working out of the box without magisk?
Nope - I use the ih8sn method which I have documented here: https://github.com/GordonSmith/ih8sn

Firmware is not the same as the ROM.

Like I said, you're probably already on Android 11 firmware, so you can go ahead and upgrade.

So, any tips to improve camera quality? I don't know if it's a rom related thing or just old age hardware, but i don't recall photos looking this bad... (stock camera app)

The LOS 20 stock camera app is much better than in LOS 19. But there is a Gcam port that works well, I use the latest 8.7 version with HDR+ or HDR+ enhanced with Auto frames.

    https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/dev-bsg/

Picture left is with Gcam, right with stock app.

Is TWRP_3.7.0_12 fully functional with decryption and such?
Are you using the official release or a another modded fork? Care to share the link?
I just upgraded to LOS 20, but would like to go back using TWRP again.
Using siddk's specific version with A12 base (hence the _12 in the version name) and decryption was fully functional in LineageOS 19.1 and is also in LineageOS 20 (I upgraded using install from internal storage i.e. without using adb sideload)
