If that's really the reason it happened, the fix (for now) is obvious: flash the regular boot.img that comes with this particular LineageOS build

From the device's LOS page
Then use fastboot to flash it, that means you replace the Magisk-rooted boot.img back with regular one

Also, this will confirm that it's truly the reason, in case your wifi works immediately after this revert.. it can be worth to collect a logcat before reverting the boot image, so you capture any error/exception that helps the maintainer @EdwinMoq investigate this as a bug.

Came from latest official Oneplus A11 and installed LineageOS 20 2023-05-11.
What a nice system, stable and smooth. Two things I don't know if I could improve.
1. Vibration is very week and for messages short. Can I increase intensity and add kind of vibra-profiles? Like long-long-short-short?
2. I've added several fingerprints but I finally can't unlock my device with it. Fingerprint seems to be always wrong and I have to fallback to the pin or similar.

i am using lineage 20 , this looks great but require fine tuning.

i am facing a problem when using smallest width option in developer above 600 spilt screen option shows but i cannot use above 600 my whole interface changes.
and below 600 split screen option doesn't show.
can anyone please help me

First time that i update lineage but at finalizing the installation in progress at 54% freezed and reboot in qualcomm crash dump mode

I'm tryng for the 2d time but finalizing the installation in progress process is really slow

Edit:after 11 minutes is still at 36%

Edit2: ok update went fine

Also I thought this shouldnt be a problem as ROM doesn't change the IMEI.
I triple checked the IMEI while putting it for exchange.
Also I am running magisk module for changing device fingerprint. Maybe this could be the problem?

Anyway I just want to go back to stock ROM. Please point me to the right guide

You could use the msm tool here to go back to OOS 10.3.8, then you should be able to OTA up to the last OOS 11 version.

Here is a guide for it's use, but basically you just need to power off the device, and hold down both volume buttons when connecting to your PC/Laptop so you are in EDL mode, then run the tool.

Has anyone noticed that in always on ambient display mode the fingerprint sensor stops detecting the fingerprint after few minutes ?

Lineage has been continuously stable for me ever since I got it, but I've been suffering a frustrating issue as of recent: the LineageOS updater always crashes when I attempt to install a downloaded update. Any reason this might be happening?

Edit: Full disclosure, I'm using this with MindTheGApps and Magisk.

Unlucky a bank app (nexi pay) detected that system is not rooted
All other bank apps works

Maybe it detected that lineage is not a official os ?

Could be useful to install magisk ? How can I install it ?

In the past I used Magisk but this time I didn't install it cause sometimes brick phone after ota

Could someone point me to a guide to install it ?

Here is a short how to:

Download Magisk to your PC:
https://github.com/topjohnwu/Magisk/releases

Rename the .apk file to .zip and install it by sideloading it in recovery.

Then reboot to system and start Magisk-App, it will install itself when you push the app icon.
Configure it: Hide it and give it a different name than Magisk,
enable Zygisk,
activate Denylist,
configure Denylist: Add Google Play Store, Google Wallet and your Banking App(s)
and if you want to use an adblock app, activate "Systemless Hosts File".

Then install Safetynetfix:
Download the .zip to your phone, install the downloaded module in Magisk App
https://github.com/Displax/safetynet-fix/releases

After rebooting, you are done and hopefully your Banking App won't detect a custom rom / rooted phone anymore.



Hint: Check https://github.com/Displax/safetynet-fix/releases regulary for updates.

Ran into a weird problem with the LTE network on my OnePlus 6T phone, especially with T-Mobile SIM on International version of OOS 11 modem firmware; it's not as fast when using the Internet browser yet it's significantly faster when using the WiFi hotspot (tested with Speedtest app on my OnePlus 8T phone).

I wonder if it's caused by build configuration errors somewhere or it's just incompatible with the SIM (already twiddled with modem settings, no dice, still stupid slow when using any apps on OnePlus 6T, except for anything tethered to it, they're weirdly quite fast and I flashed the LineageOS update on it yesterday - nothing too fancy, just Magisk and certain Linux terminal apps such as fstrim which I needed to make sure I keep the embedded SSD clean especially after cleaning it up with SD Maid).

BTW, I am basically using my old OnePlus 6T as a PDA right now especially to play some emulated games on the go (no Google Play, just whatever I installed on my OnePlus 8T phone and copied to the OnePlus 6T via app backup manager), occasionally to also use it as a hotspot gateway modem.

The automatic for the screen brightness of the fajita in LOS 20 regulates too far down for my taste in dark surroundings. How does it work for you? Could the control curve be changed a bit?

Just flashed 20th July build and had to install UniversalSafetyNetfix 2.4.0-Mod_2.0 to pass Safetynet. So if you plan to update just check if it passes Safetynet after updating. Last time I tried to open bank app without passing Safetynet I got a call from the bank 😂

    Firmware is not the same as the ROM.

    Like I said, you're probably already on Android 11 firmware, so you can go ahead and upgrade.

    The LOS 20 stock camera app is much better than in LOS 19. But there is a Gcam port that works well, I use the latest 8.7 version with HDR+ or HDR+ enhanced with Auto frames.

    Using siddk's specific version with A12 base (hence the _12 in the version name) and decryption was fully functional in LineageOS 19.1 and is also in LineageOS 20 (I upgraded using install from internal storage i.e. without using adb sideload)
