ASOP sliders? Have you themed it already, or is that stock?

I could just be dreaming but perhaps this is a sign of moto following in SE`s footsteps?

SE stated they wouldnt be customising their phones as heavily in the future and that the changes they do make from stock android wouldnt be as deep as they were previously to allow them to roll out updates faster...

Only problem I have with this so far is that dialler doesn't match contacts as you type. eg 4663 for HOME. Oh and the symbols on the dialler pad itself.

I don't get the call recorder either.

Just trying to flash fsb, but doesnt boot.
I was on 3.4.2_155-002_DEBLUR frimware

EDIT
OK, just show that http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=966537

Android 2.2.1 "Froyo" (official)

3.4.2 -74 SKTelecom Korea Blur

!!!!!!!!! Flash only if you come from a 2.21 or 2.34 rom "That is because it has version 2 for CG31 and CG39, if you are on stock 2.51 those versions are 3 and if you flashed leaked froyo those are 4 and you cannot flash any firmware with lower versions. if you are on 2.21 or 2.34 you can flash this, otherwise you will brick your phone. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Im lucky, I just flashed 3.4.2_155-002_DEBLUR frimware again and it boots again, no harm at all!!

Think your looking for gpsconfig.xml . . .

Here is the one from 3.4.2-74_Stock.KR_BLUR:
Code:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<glgps xmlns="http://www.glpals.com/" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:schemaLocation="glconfig.xsd" >

<hal
    acPortName="/dev/ttyS0"
    lBaudRate="115200"
    cLogEnabled="false"
    acLogDirectory="/data/location/com.broadcom.gps/logs/"
    ltoFileName="lto.dat"
    acNvStoDir="/data/location/"
    acCmdPipeName="/data/location/gpscmd"
    bAllowIgnoreOsc="false"
    bUseHalLogger="false"
/>

<!-- GPS configuration with standalone 26 MHz TCXO and 1.625 MHZ CNTIN, DynMode for SKTELECOM TMAP -->
<gll
    LogPriMask="LOG_DEBUG"
    LogFacMask="LOG_GLLAPI | LOG_NMEA | LOG_RAWDATA | LOG_INTEGR | LOG_USR1"
    FrqPlan="FRQ_PLAN_26MHZ_2PPM_1_625MHZ_300PPB"
    RfType="GL_RF_BARRACUDA_EXT_LNA"
    DynMode="DYN_PEDESTRIAN"
/>

<!-- Periodic Position Fix using default settings -->
<job id="Periodic">
    <task>
        <req_pos/>
    </task>
</job>

</glgps>
no...gps.conf

this is the 3rd android phone i have...the previous two (galaxy spica, lg optimus one) both had gps.conf file (containing the NTP servers) and changing them to your region speeded up gps. now, in moto defy i can't locate that file...it's missing...why?

I looked at my sources from other roms and none have the file your looking for.

Also NTP (network time protocol), is just for time syncing. Meaning it does nothing for gps... because it pulls the time from the cell network. The most you could do is set it to fetch the time from gps instead.

I see a lot of people seem to think this is faster but has anyone done any quadrant comparisons with the other releases?
Fresh sbf flash, not nandroid:

Chinese Official 2.21 at non-oc get 1299
Korean Official 2.21 at non-oc get 1169

*** aside from possible mis-behave LED flash from Chinese firmware.

CHT pro: What Korean missing......
Faster response ( according to Quadrant )
Build in two way recording (Edit: KOREAN also got recorder)
Build in firewall ( filter / block for message, voice, mms )
Adjustable network speed ( selectable gsm only, or 3G only )
Data Manager with Counter ( great for those who is not on unlimited plan )

Korean pro: What Chinese missing.....
Font Size adjustment
Font style adjustment
aGPS on/off
DivX
Proximity sensor on/off
Widescreen Camera photo taking
* nice bootup animation - lol
