I think there is Xposed for pie. At least that's what I read somewhere in my thread.
Wait a bit until someone who uses Xposed too to see it ;)
At least you now know that there is.

Thank u very much - it works & I should have done this research by myself, sorry! A bit strange is the high number of blackouts the system has everyday, for me around one per hr of usage. They occur irregularly, but -for my feeling- mostly in connection with system settings and while accessing sensors. Though when u want to know if left or right the answer is: black. This is very strange as this AOSCP seems to be very clean and forward...

i know. media crashes randomly and causes zygote service to restart. What you see is like a random reboot.
I already tried to log that but it doesn't print any error. So i ignored it. In a month i will bring up Q. Bugs don't matter anymore. Maybe i will do one last build after im done with something i fix

In my case, I just observed something odd. After restoring a nandroid backup, I realized that the system/media folder (in root) is gone... just gone. Which makes the boot animation resort to just "static android" image, plus I've lost all my ringtones in settings.

I have completely same issue. So can anyone help me?
Edit: AOSCP Nougat 7.1.2
CypherOs version 4.2
and notification and alarm sounds too.

In twrp, wipe system, delvik cache and cache. (do not wipe data)
Next, re-flash the rom and gapps. Then reboot.
That should fix it.
*if you'd root earlier, just reboot into twrp and flash your root package.

The instructions I gave won't be deleting your data. Just follow the them and you'll see your apps and files will be fine.
By root package, what I meant is whether you're using Magisk or SuperUser, whichever it is, you can flash it in twrp again after following the instructions to fix issue.

Map problem

There are some apps using Google Maps which do not work with pie - there are no maps visible ("live 360" for example). Is there a solution for this problem available?

Just tested the 2908 Pie build and everything was pretty good and smooth except the fact that most of my apps doesn't appear at Google Play. That issue makes me imposible to use this ROM as daily driver. Hope to be fixed soon! ??

Just as a detail, this ROM is so close to a stock one as It has almost no extras nor customization options. That's rather amazing ?

EDIT: I have a h815 officially unlocked with the latest Pie TWRP preview.

Another Google slave ?
Well, I've said this again and again. Google banned me. I use Aurora store and it's working fine, much better than playstore and I can filter apps search results and I can update my apps fine.
Also now it doesn't matter anymore because I'll do Q.
Lastly, Q has theming and several other features which beats the purpose of building AOSCP and many other roms out there.
For g4 only , I will unofficially maintain and help in Los. Los will be our only option after Q.

...sorry for asking, but I guess I'm not the only one...
Does it mean you're working on a "Q"-version for the LG4? What does "Los" mean?

I installed the pie version and I must say that it's awesome, i only have one question: can double tap to wake be activated in some way?
There is a way actually. I think ac display app can do the same thing since I kept the sensors enabled in kernel.
But to add in kernel the module for double tap is not an option because it drains a lot of battery. (You already know this story we have discussed this a lot in all roms)

And maybe we will discuss this in the near future with @steadfasterX in a suicidal meeting if we r going to add this app in device tree after we alter it a little.

I'm currently running AOSCP 4.2-201901119 on my h815 (and i love it!)

Yesterday i had a problem with roaming. I was abroad in the Netherlands and although I was registered in the foreign network, I had no signal. Only emergency calls were possible. According to my provider roaming should be possible. Were there any known problems in this ROM regarding roaming problems?

I'm thinking about updating my phone. Are there any disadvantages in Pie other than the four issues listed in GitHub?

    FOR N
AOSCP N is maintained unofficially here : https://github.com/Suicide-Squirrel/platform_manifest
I do not update it on the Official because i use a lot of LineageOS and CodeAurora repos in the manifest , so AOSCP N is syncing way too many repos from outside AOSCP.
You can still use it to build for any device unofficially, but not expect me to push these to Official

First boot. Wifi and gps and ril are working but this build here locally is full aosp.
My caf build still has a lot of work.
I only fixed the display caf and partially Bluetooth.
When it's stable I will let you know. It has a great lot of work to be done
    38
A new video teaser for you.
Only camera is left to fix and find out why rild and nfc do some random crash because of a faulty address.

    33
    AOSCP O.

Good news. I just thought of a way to restart rild automatically on boot if there is no sim detected.

getprop | grep sim should find a country code and a operator code. If that prop , the one I will choose, is null restart rild.

So simple. How didn't I thought of it sooner.....
I will add that this weekend and I will solve the sim not found issue on boot. No need of an app or root.

My idea is to eliminate the need of root.
