the phone just hangs after some processor and then shows blackscreen thts it doesnt even work after flashing new baseband.its not even in english !

Use open optimus build 2.02..it luks awesome and also its very smooth..i tried dis earlier..and i like open optimus better den dis..the reboots and blackscreen would be because of franco kernel..try paolo v5 notouch

i am having some problems with gps.
is this my phone or this rom?

it takes longer to get fix than it used to. and when i get fix it only lasts for minute or two than it loses fix. if i close and open navi program (or any other program with gps) it gets fix in few seconds and again fix is lost after minute or so.
gps signal is not a problem because i tested it with two other p500-s at the same time.

should i reflash bck to original rom?

Try open optimus build 2.02..it has a gps fix addon in his thread

Wifi disconnecting

I can confirm Wifi disconnecting when full wifi signal (I have got patched latest stable Franco"s kernel)

SOLVED: installed newest Franco kernel or wifi lock free and wifi issue was past

no problems with Wifi using 160811 FrancoKernel
290811 gives some weird battery drain problm after 1st Battery Recharge goes down in 16-20hrs have to reboot everytime to fix that >_<

Nope, still no 3G network. I installed new-baseband-patch.tip thru recovery but nothing. Same as before.

uhh mik's baseband patch fixes only gsm signal, not data.

Hello, i would like to try a ROM with the new baseband but i'm confused in one thing...

I'm with old baseband and old rom. Now i need to install new baseband with help of LGMDP-v1.5.exe and then, flash the ROM, normal way with recovery right?

What if i don't like it? Can I get back to 2.2 ROMs and old baseband? How?

What does miks-baseband-patch does??

I was just cautions to use other kernel, I am getting 40+hours of battery with sync on etc which is pretty good. Will give your rom a try, and post feedback.

@Naturist. Hi, what combination of ROM and Kernel are you using to get awesome 40 hours with sync "on"?

This is an outdated stock based rom..use cm7.2 for rock solid performance!

Agreed, however what i noticed is Cyber_Avijit's rom comes with "android god-mode" i.e. "system partion in yaffs + sd card partion in ext 2" which greatly improves performance (i/o: ~4450). Further since it is based on stock it is bug free as far working of hardware is concerned which cm7.2 lags at the moment. Cm7.2 still has some issues like usb teethering not working etc.
