... why should reflashing the rom (if done "dirty") erase your data? Try it, it should not affect /data.
Sorry,I am still not too experienced. I assumed that reflashing the rom would delete all the system settings, cache, workprofile etc...

Ok I just booted into TWRP but it does not even ask me for my lock screen pattern to decrypt the data. Could it be that the system is broken on such a deep level that the decryption doesnt work?

Android Rescue Party trigger! Possible solutions?
Either:
1. Wipe caches, and/or
2. Format data, and/or
3. Clean-flash your ROM.

The reported problem is:
' --reason=enablefilecrypto_failed'
I am running latest twrp 3.7.0-12.1

Edit: I just noticed that my ext sd storage was completely full (17mb left), so maybe that caused the issue somehow in the first place..?

Hello ! English translator.
A delivery application does not work for me because of the parallel space, do you know how to deactivate this function? That allows cloning the application

Can you please elaborate about your problem? What is the app and what's the problem? Are you using the parallel space function or the app is not working just because parallel space feature is present in your phone?

It does not work directly, it generates a message that says that the application does not work with applications like island, so I suppose that because the parallel space application is enabled, it detects it and prevents the application from starting, sorry for not taking a screenshot

App: soyrappi

Thank makes more sense now. Unfortunately I don't know the solution to this problem, let's hope someone else sees it and tells you the solution.

Does anyone know how to disable the parallel space function or uninstall it from the system. It does not allow me to open an application since it takes it as fraud.

I do have a Redmi Note 8T. Installation of custom ROMs (and Gapps if necessary) by placing the files on an external SD card. Installation using TWRP 3.7.0, The phone is not rooted.
Installation went flawlessly (ROM + NikGapps omni variant). Everything works fine, no bugs or shortcomings detected. Thanks a lot for a great ROM!
- Smart lock - trusted places - works irregular.
- No notification dots (settings - of course - to show notification dots)
- Occasionally report 'Android Syustem Intelligence stops all the time' (com.google.android.as)

Hi! You get high amperes when the battery temperature is low, and the percentage is not high. I have used stock and due to high temps in my area all the time this season, I get 1500 or 1000ma on stock.

On what percentage?
From %0 to %60 I get ~3000mA, after that the power gets lower to not damage the battery, after %95 you can get less than 1000mA

hi everyone. I am despairing.
Both my parents have the Note 8t with crDroid 9.5. Everything worked fine except for the screen rotate button. Depending on the crDroid version, it works sometimes and sometimes not. For whatever reason.
But back to my real problem. My parents want to go on vacation in a week, so I decided to do an update beforehand. Big mistake. I know, I know, never change a winning team.
Now both phones won't go into deepsleep again. I'm writing again because this happened before in version 9.2 or 9.3. At that time I had to charge both cell phones twice a day without actually using them. And I had to wait almost a month for an update to fix this. Unfortunately, I don't have that much time because of vacation.
I tried to install a working older version but unfortunately no luck. Now Deepsleep no longer works in the version in which it worked before.
I need help very urgently.
Is it not possible to flash back?
Has anyone else had this problem and found a solution?
How can I find out what is causing the problem? I, as a layman, can't find anything in the log.

My English is bad, I know. sorry

I found the issue that was causing the high battery drain. It was "pocket detection" in crDroid settings.

One more thing I noticed. In version 9.5 date 06/19. "Smart charging" in crDroid settings is missing.

Sorry for the inconvenience

I show a series of images that for me show that the rom is optimized to stay on standby but for continuous use it drains the battery very quickly compared to other android 13 rom, the first 3 correspond to crdroid

Here is another rom: In the last two I made a more intensive use of the map and cabify application and the battery consumption behaved better

Hi

I've been using CrDroid 9.5 for two days now, and I can say it's been great except for one thing: the heating issue. I was quite surprised when I checked with CPU-Z and saw that the processor was at 85 degrees, considering I was just browsing a forum at that time.

  • I have the device set to automatic brightness.
  • I was using Wi-Fi, as mobile data usually causes more heating.
  • The first four cores of the processor were running at 1804MHz, while the other four cores were at 2000MHz. If I'm not mistaken, the last four cores should be in a "stop" state since I wasn't doing anything demanding.
  • The battery also dropped from 100 to 58 very quickly during this time. Unfortunately, all of this happened within 1.5 hours.
I thought about lowering the frequency and other similar options, but I wanted to get some suggestions from you.

Thank you in advance for your assistance."

Wow! 85 is definitely too much. I wouldn't take that kind of risk running my phone at such high temps. My current CPU temp is 49°C at normal usage on other rom. You might wanna do something about it quick as it can damage your phone.

Hi,
I reinstalled Crdroid 9.5. Everything is stable at the moment. Temperatures hover around 40 degrees, which is good value for a scenario like just surfing the web.

I want to use my old 8T as a remote: for both infrared and smart devices over Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
I don't care much about features - only battery life and device's responsiveness matter to me. crDroid seems to be the most bloat-free distribution which makes it my top candidate.
Should I just get the newest version, or - judging by the comments - there's an older rom that would fit my needs better? If so, which version exactly is the least battery-hungry?

I installed crdroid 9 in my gingko and used it for more than a month, since it came out, but I had this feeling the battery was draining much faster.

So, to do things in a proper and professional manner, yesterday I reinstalled crdroid 8 to compare the battery lives of both roms. I turned airplane mode on before going to sleep, just like before. The battery was at 96%. This morning, after 10 hours, the battery was at 95%. See the difference?

I'm sticking with crdroid 8 for now. It's stable, the battery life is the best I could get, and both roms look the same to me. But I'll come back to crdroid 9 later when the next update is out to see if things get better.

Instead of just installing crdroid 8, maybe you could install crdroid 9, test it for 24h and tell us about your own experience. I still feel like I'm the only one with this problem here.
    3
Hi everybody. I've been using this ROM in my ginkgo for a month now, but despite some users describing the battery life as good or excellent, I feel the battery is draining pretty fast actually, compared to the last crdroid-8 ROM I was using before. I'm talking about stand-by mode.

I leave my phone for a few hours, I lose 5% battery. I leave it overnight (in plane mode !), I lose 10%. Now I'm wondering, should I wait for the next update, or should I go back to crdroid 8? Battery is important to me and I don't see a big difference between A12.1 and A13 anyway...

I also have a problem playing my ogg files and the only way I can fix it is by hiding the vorbis section in /vendor/etc/audio/audio_policy_configuration.xml, as written here:

But I have to do it every time I update the system. Is Android already bugged when it comes out of Google labs? Does anybody have the same experience? How did you solve the problem?

Thanks to everybody, specially DarkJoker360 for developing this wonderful ROM for our device!
    3
Yup. It works properly. Just make sure you're clean flashing
    Thanks, not new on this.
Was probably the old DFE build, I'll try with DFE-NEO next time.

EDIT: After a clean install (including 'Internal Storage') everything works.
ROM looks stable (even more than latest CrDroid 8.x builds), only drain 2% over night on a phone with a 2 year battery.
Working with Magisk, microG and DFE-NEO (Disable Force Encryption NEO). Attach DFE-NEO settings for anyone who wants to use it.

    Changed settings:
    Code:
    Disable QUOTA= false
    Flash Magisk= false
    Skip warning= true
