keychron k8 works btw :^)
thanks for the tip! unfortunately that's a mechanical keyboard, not sure my teachers will appreciate lol
Because you have a Wi-Fi only device.Hello, is there a reason why the "Automatic timezone" setting is missing under System/Date & Time?
Can't for the life of me restore stock firmware. I've done this countless times over the years with all manner of Samsungs, but this is perplexing. I got it to restore a couple of months ago, but went back to give LineageOS another try. Now I want to restore it to sell it off, but this time no go. Perhaps a different computer/cable combo will do it.What instructions are you using? Going from memory CP is a modem file (IIRC)? Which model do you have? None of my Factory ROMs ( Android, 9, 10, and 11, which I have successfully used) have a CP file either (normal, mine is a wifi model). I believe only the LTE models will have the CP file.
You will only use the AP, BL, and CSC file (not the HOME CSC file). Don't place the CSC file in the CP box.
Any hint how to pass safetynet with this rom?
I can't get it work on lineage-20.0-20230605-microG-gts4lv.zip with magisk 25.2 stable .. even the basic integrity check fails
I would appreciate the exact magisk version as well as the versions of safetynet-fix and/or MagiskHidePropsConf .. ;-)
btw: thanks for the rom @LuK1337, very good work![]()
Unfortunately the issue is still thereI just hope the bluetooth keyboard issue gets resolved by this change.
Yes. I am using GCam_8.1.101_Wichaya_V1.6
Thanks! I don't really game but I have Alto's Adventure and it played fine for me. Maybe the occasional hitch/slowdown but nothing really to note.Happy flashing
Perhaps you can give some feedback on how it feels.
Currently we have one stock and one LOS, she complains that her favorite game runs slower on LOS.
My testing ended in LOS being faster in Passmark. However, Futuremark was slower but then it didn't clock so high (perhaps battery? Retesting already. Edit: Nope, does stay around 6800):
View attachment 6007943nyone else who experienced less power for gaming?
Edit#2: In the end I don't care about this performance in Futuremark because this higher clocking leads to higher power consumption - the battery test ended with 9h34m for Samsung and 10h14m for LOS.
I just wonder about the gaming which still runs better on Samsung despite reverting to LOS from -09-02 but, hey!, LOS gets always better whereas Samsung doesn't even support it anymore![]()
That still sounds broken to meworking on 2023-09-18 version. But it does not display a separate number row (if enabled
Never really bothered about that, and why would I? By my experience I'd say that flashed devices usually catch higher prices being "degoogled", especially if abandoned by manufacturer (like here A11 vs A13).
I think you might go straight to stock, since this feature never worked on tablets anyway. That still sounds broken to meI think I better skip some updates...

Just occasionally I had to revert a samsung back to stock, did that with samsung KIES or smart switch.
Dang! My bad, you got me: That additional line of numbers is original samsung
This device has screen density so low that keyboard app doesn't consider it a tablet. You're right, I've seen that on LOS20, too...
I've got an unofficial build running on my Samsung Tab Pro:
lineage-20.0-20230527-UNOFFICIAL-mondrianwifi.zip (unfortunately no update since)
[ROM][T320][T325][Android 13] Unofficial LineageOS 20.0 Nightlies Tab Pro 8.4 Wifi/LTE (mondrianwifi/lte)
There I can use the separate number row.
Having seen it running on LOS20, it would be nice, if it could be enabled on the Tab S5e, too. But it's no dealbreaker. I can live without the number row and if needed urgently, I can try an additional keyboard.
Going back to stock is no option for me.
There are no automatic system updates.I have had bootloops happening out of the blue once a month the last couple of months and think they are related to either to the system automatically applying updates or Magisk taking some action without my knowledge.
How do I make sure to disable all OTA related activities? I have already disabled the updater.apk.
I promise this has nothing to do with source quality. Unless you're listening to a crummy 128k MP3 then I'd be astonished if you were able to perceive a difference between a FLAC file and a 320k MP3 listening through tiny speakers on a tablet. The speakers are not good enough to begin with to be able to make that kind of distinction.Has some noisy parts though. Ideally one should get some FLAC proper somewhere but even this showed the shortcoming of sound in LOS... and then there are plenty of switches and knobs... tried some but Samsung was still better.
It's ON by default. Compared it to my phone - also ON and the very same presets. I deem that a stupid idea because once I turned that off the quality really improved (should be opt-in not opt-out):
- AudioFX OFF
- Dolby Atmos ON with preset Music
Now it is pretty close to Samsung. Still, I must find some good piece of music so I can evaluate that better.

* yawn * fixed in 20230109+7Hello, the same again today. The inbuild updater did not update the LOS recovery to 20230109.
