I did not SIM/network unlock my T-mobile OnePlus 7 Pro device before installing RR. Where/how/can I unlock the SIM/Network? Am I screwed?

I downloaded the com.tmobile.rsuapp 1.4.18, and installed it, and it installed.. but I can't actually open it. I've never seen an app the installs but can be run. It's not disabled. What gives?

Ideas?

Thank you!

Hi, I'm on RR for a while now but I'd like to go back to oxygen os (Android 11).
I don't want to mess things up and I read a lot of information already.
So what will be the best safe way to go from RR 8.6.2 (Android 10) to oxygen 11. I have twrp installed. Thanks in advance.

  1. Download latest OxygenOS zip from this thread
  2. Boot TWRP
  3. Format data
  4. Reboot TWRP
  5. Copy OxygenOS zip to the phone
  6. Flash OxygenOS zip (1/2 - first slot)
  7. From TWRP, reboot bootloader
  8. Code:
    fastboot boot twrp.img
  9. Flash OxygenOS zip (2/2 - second slot)
  10. Reboot system

I'm a lil late'ish but last night I finally flashed RR. I don't use Windows at all (I'm 110% Linux!) ;P so what I did was used the downgrade OSS 9xx zip from guides section "repo." Took me a few minutes after I booted OSS 9xx to be able to do anything. Very strange behavior from my device! It would show I had LTE then soon as I would do anything at all the LTE would vanish from status bar and phone would say no signal connect WiFi and it wouldn't pick up any WiFi. 😂 Many more strange things happened than that but eventually I was able to somehow get an ota and get away from 9xx then after ota #1 I was on 10x OSS I then did what I tried to do on 9xx only it actually worked... I booted mauranofrio's 10x twrp and flashed 10.3.8 OSS on both slots then RR and magisk formatted data and all is and has been good. :)
I haven't used RR in a while. Really cool to be able to now! Appreciate your work here op! Great rom!!! 👍

You could have used the OOS 10 downgrade zip, maybe it would have eased the process quite a bit.

Just curious: I love RR, this was my favorite ROM on A10. But I'm using A12 ROMs now. Why did you choose an Android 10 ROM when you can flash A12 ROMs with latest security patches, updated kernel and stuff?

I use AiCP 16.1 for the last few months or so and that's where I'll probably be staying. I flashed RR because I missed the nav bar options it has (pics below) and many other Android 10 custom roms had back when we were all on Android 10. For me updates aren't as priority as they are to others.. I like and prefer to stay up to date but a few months isn't really anything bad in my eyes. If something is say over 6-7 months , then I don't usually flash it. I don't flash that many roms nowadays. I'm semi retired from crackflashing. 😂 I did that all through the Nexus years. Haha!
Just figured I would give RR a go and use it a few weeks.. It's only been a day that I've been onboard but sure seems stable to me. RR always has been a stable rom. Brings back memories of years ago with the Nexus generations. Those were the days! 😁✌️

Ps: 10.4 on the downgrade OSS10 zip. Not even sure why I didn't use it. Lack of sleep and old age I guess. 😂🤣

Is there a proper way to add fonts to this ROM?

I'm looking to add 2 fonts below, possibly without using 3rd party app.

Thanks in advance 👍
Use an app called "fontfix" you can add your own fonts

Yes I can enable monitor mode for the attached adapter and the internal network card. However the internal network card will randomly change back to managed. So the external adapter is more reliable
Thank you! It's so annoying actually because we wouldn't have to carry an adapter all the time. Maybe it's because of the kali version?

My phone is an old used one with cracked screen. It could just be due to hardware failure or damage on mine. A friend of that I set his same phone up oneplus 7 pro says he has not noticed any issues. He claims the external adapter has better range in some instances. And when using wigle the external adapter has more accuracy.

I want to upgrade my recovery from PBRP 3.0 to the latest TWRP 3.6.x....., it has two versions, one for FBEv1 & another for FBE V2. Anyone know which FBE version this ROM supports?
Pretty sure, FBE v 1 is for stock OOS and FBE v 2 is mostly for custom roms.

    Resurrection Remix Q

    Code:
    /*
    * Your warranty is now void.
    *
    * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
    * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
    * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
    * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
    * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.

Resurrection Remix the ROM has been based on LineageOS, SlimRoms, Omni and original Remix ROM builds, this creates an awesome
combination of performance, customization, power and the most new features, brought directly to your Device.

Many things that in previous versions were tweaked with mods, are now included by default in the ROM so, please enjoy!
Special thanks to, the LineageOS team, Omni team , SlimRoms and of course to all the supporters.
