Does the lineageos developer ever come here? Because it seems to me that all posts in this topic, just a method of communication of users with each other, as in social networks. The developer never responds. I have already made a request to the developer, but I didn’t even get a refusal. Now I decided to add a private DNS Server in the settings, after adding a private DNS on the phone does not connect the Internet at all via WI-FI or mobile network. It says: Error the connection to the private server.

I don't work on the source code. Even if I decide to push new features, there's almost no chance that it'll be merged into the official repositories. I just make device side changes. Also, LineageOS is not a ROM where new features are added regularly. It's just a bare ROM without Google stuff.

I understanded, thank you. But where to write about the problem with adding dns in the settings of the internet connection? It on all phones and firmwares
works without problems. But on Lineage ROM does not work. I’m attracted to Lineage’s lack of google services. I don’t have much choice, so I want the firmware to work well.

fingerprint scanner is not working, is this known issue?

I am wondering the same thing. Just upgraded to LOS20 from OOS11 and can't set up any fingerprints now.

Hello everyone,

I'm psychologically ready to root but I would like to ask a few questions...

First question, is the following procedure correct?

1. install magisk on device
2. extract boot.img from the zip file of the ROM
3. patch boot.img with magisk on the device
4. copy the patched boot.img to pc
5. reboot to recovery and flash boot.img on the boot partition using fastboot
6. reboot

• Is there anything else to do?
• will I lose root if I update LOS via OTA?

for context, I already flashed ih8sn.zip to pass safety net

The warning message before installing los20 states:

"Before following these instructions please ensure that the device is currently using Android 12 firmware.
If the vendor provided multiple updates for that version, e.g. security updates, make sure you are on the latest!
If your current installation is newer or older than Android 12, please upgrade or downgrade to the required version before proceeding (guides can be found on the internet!)."

You might want to try that.

Damn, i must have overlooked that. Can anyone confirm this might be the cause of the fp not working? Kinda bummed i have to do the whole flashing and setup again now.

From my experience it's just best to reflash it all. If fingerprint won't work now, what wouldn't work in the future... You're running android 13 on a android 11 kernel.

I'm not sure if someone will be able to confirm since it's a rare issue. But I flashed the wrong version of mindthegapps (version 10 instead of 13) and that gave a hole lot of problems . Reflashing it all and losing my data and stuff was annoying, but made me sleep a lot better at night doing it properly.

Issues which I face are
1. Fingerprint scanner doesn't work on always on display after screen goes dim.
2. Audio is very low as compared to other ROM.

Hi, i have another question regarding SafetyNet. Did the ih8sn.zip work for everyone as posted in the guide? I can't get it to work. The CTS profile match test fails still (see attachement). Any typical errors people tend to do when flashing the fix?
