Bro, I was on PE 12 (your previous build) , as soon as the 13 build was released I rolled back to A10 using msm and then updated to 11 using system updater. But after that the required 12.1 release was not available for me. So I used oxygen updater to update to the latest firmware.

But when I'm trying to unlock the bootloader, it shows an error like " can't unlock dur to technical issues" . This is the first time I'm facing this. I had toggled the OEM unlock option, usb debugging etc. Can u help me here?

Unlocking bootloader is not possible from Oxygen OS 12.1. You have to unlock on OOS 11 and then local upgrade to 12.1 to keep the bootloader unlocked.

Oh I see, thanks a lot brother. Even on the new 12.1 oos my drm is at l3. Whatever I tried I have never achieved L1 after I first unlocked bootloader (I was unaware of drm at my first time). Any comment here bro @shantanusarkar

Doesn't seem like OOS 12.1 is similar to OOS in terms of L1. I don't even know if we will be able to achieve L1 on custom ROMs based on OOS 12.1 firmware without root. I don't care though. Anyone who is desperate can obviously root and do stuff.

I have GM1900, can update using oxygen updater ? It seems OOS12.1 is only available for GM1903 ?

Whatever is available for your device, continue with that

Well... i couldn't find it to be honest.

I flashed Beta13 on top of latest PE12.

I might run into trouble, i'll report back but it's perhaps better to not take my bugs/issues to the letter.

Good luck. Have fun. You'll definitely run into some error. You have to flash it over oos 12.1. just flash any oos 12.1 stable version that's available for you device and then flash pe. It's such a simple thing.

Ok, first of all, to be clear: I dirty flashed this on top of PE12, without having OOS12 H.30 before.

BT - Working
GPS - Working
WIFI - Working. My job WPA2-Enterprise freaked out, had to delete and add again though.
GCam - Working, using Urnyx05
AndroidAuto - Working
Fingerprint - Working
AlwaysOn - Working

All apps seem to be behaving normally. The phone is fast, it always has been of course, but it seems abnormally fast. Even AndroidAuto is more fluid. This might be placebo but it doesn't feels like it.

FaceUnlock seems to be unavailable.

Decided to test OOS 12.1 before switching to PE13.
Few things are noticeably so good on stock rom, haptic feedback and sound quality primarily. Experience is good till now.

One thing i noticed... the PE13 Beta has a certain bias for overbrightness, even with dark mode on.

For example, covering the top of the device lowered (albeit slowly) the brightness to 18%.

After uncovering, on a normal bright room office, it ramped immediatly to 87%.

I also believe AOD is not only too much bright, but also with a fixed brightness. (this also happened on PE12)

Can I install PE 13 over OxygenOS 12.1 GM1903_11.H.20 instead of H.30? Unfortunately I cannot find H.30 for GM1903 anywhere...

Disregard that, the color profile was set to Adaptive. After setting to Amplified brightness returned to normal, although a little big high still.

There's nothing special to it, it's a Pixel Experience build, like any other pixel.

Eventually I've installed PE13 over GM1901 H31 and it works far better than the stock (especially wireless AA responsiveness), so thanks for your effort @shantanusarkar . As for now only VoLTE does not work for me (Poland) and battery drain is quite heavy, but I will observe the latter it in the next days.
