Only problem i am facing in 3.1 is that everytime i reboot i have to clear the dalvik and cache otherwise no boot

It happened to me too. Just going to TWRP and performing reboot from there was enough to boot to the system. lightwortex mentioned this in his last post here. It was meant for a bootloop issue, but it helped me nevertheless.

The no sound from the earpiece is definitely a software problem. I am able to test via settings-sound-call , earpiece speaker works fine however I have no sound in a call unless I use Bluetooth or speaker. Have tried wiping cache for all phone related apps/services, wiping cache and rebooting via twrp and still nothing

Still have not solved the lack of earpiece call audio but believe the problem is centered around the configuration of :
/vendor/build.prop (parameters for voicecall and fluence)
/vendor/etc/audio_policy_configuration.xml
/vendor/etc/audio_output_policy.xml
/vendor/etc/mixer_paths_tasha.xml

Can someone with a working device share the config of these?

I've flashed factory images using recovery and image files and wiped and formatted using fastboot and orange fox and twrp. Whatever did it, killed it I believe. From what I've read, mi mix 2 has a receiver speaker that has gone out for many users. Why else would there be so many videos on how to replace it and info all over the net...I'll call and speak with the phone repair place in about 6 hours from now and ask my question below and report my findings on the thread I made for it. ✌

The main question I'd like answered by someone who knows is can a speaker be broken but only not work on my end of the call while in a call but work in all other ways or when these receiver speakers go out do they break all the way where they do NOT work at all? I'm starting to believe , only because I've literally tried every single thing possible to fix it that the answer is yes that they can just break on in call sound and Work every other way. That's my 2¢ on it. And my bad for writing all this here in the thread. This will be my last speaker post.

I can't rationalize this being a hardware problem, my earpiece speaker works fine for listening to voicemail via Google voice and also works when I test the call volume in settings-sound-call. It's simply doesn't make sense for a hardware defect to only manifest when certain software is used, regardless of the software the same physical device and connections are used. The only sensible explanation is that this is software, config or firmware related.

Here's two. I wiped and installed havoc , flashed mic fix zip then ran two logs.. I called my self and spoke on both phones. I'm not sure how to get a log of me not being able to hear from my receiver speaker in a call other than to just do this.. If you need more logs or have suggestion as to me doing this different please let me know and I'll get right on it ASAP. Thanks for help.

Havoc with Oreo and related questions

Hello,


I've been using this rom for two years, but now I would like to change back to Oreo because EdxPosed + Riu causes me problems with fingerprint and nfc payments for banking, and I hope that Oreo, officially supporting Xposed, would work better and more stable. So, I have some questions:


1- Does this Rom have an Oreo Version ? If so, where, and how can I find it ?


2- If not, where can I find a similar (to havoc) custom rom (stable) with Oreo ?


3- In the 'how to install' section of the first post, it is mentioned that before installing the rom, I have to 'flash the Pie firmware'; Is it the official MIUI rom ? If it isn't, what is it ?

Maybe you should try another twrp?? And flash miui first? And then go back to havoc or another rom? Try rom android 9 maybe?

i have flashed latest fw . is there any miui custom rom which i can flash through twrp?
i dont have access to computer.

I have clean flashed not once but thrice ..
Flashed latest fw then flashed havoc .Mic on Revenge Os has no issues . But havoc ROM is the one o want to use .

Can you recommend me any miui ROM which I can flash through twrp and then switch back to havoc .

And one more thing I can only change Mac in evolution ROM but I can't chabge Mac in any other ROM including havoc ..I have tried different apps but to no use .
