Has anyone built lastest CM13 (after the last official nightly 20161218) or LineageOS 13 for hima? I see work is continuing on 13, they appear to be in the process of adding the January security patches.

I assume the camera doesn't work on his CM14.1 builds as with other CM/LOS 14.1 based builds?

Unforunately not. ive been using his 14.1 for about a week and its fairly buggy and power hungry , just been too lazy to go back to a CM13 based rom , and have been waiting , like you for an updated version

Regarding CM13.1 and the crashing camera -- this is caused by face recognition. Try it: as long as you point the camera at something other than a face, it works. But as soon as you point it at a face, it crashes. This applies to the selfie camera and the other one. I have no idea how to fix it, but as a workaround I am using OpenCamera which is working fine.

It's weird because they had a fix for this, so it's a regression. Hope someone knows how to properly fix it because it's really annoying that we can't use the regular camera app.

What is working and what is not
There's no screenshot or anything, just a download.

Is it normal? Where I can find a review, or simply a changelog?

Yes it does, it's up to the person if they want to take the risk so they can run broken ROMs

I don't think many of us can help you. Remember, you are trying to install a mod on a buggy third-party ROM. If you want help, at least describe your issue. Is the ZIP not flashing in recovery? Is the phone stuck in a bootloop? Is there no sound? Is the mediaserver crashing? Is the sound crackly? Please describe your issue and include a copy of the logcat so we can have an idea of what is not working.

Unfortunately a lot of posts for obscure ROMs and devices. Most things like the RIL are working, as you can see, the camera is very buggy and power efficiency is still not very good. There should be support for screen-off gestures, but keep in AOSP-based ROMs will never have proprietary stuff like camera noise reduction or BoomSound audio processing. I also don't know what you want about screenshots, this is stock CyanogenMod/LineageOS and it will look completely identical to builds for any other phone.

I guess you guys are using my builds up on AFH. I can upload some new builds if you guys want? With 13.0 MTP has been fixed. I am not sure about camera, the himawl never had any issues.

for me cm13 is best rom, phone feels a lot different than stock sense. the only downside is volume of the speakers and headset. if someone could fix this that would be amazing...

I've uploaded 14.1 for himaul. Of course camera is not working but I'll upload a build of 13.0 in a few hours.

As per the original question. We do have knowledge on what is wrong. It is a WIP. No luck yet.
