Hi, yes. The update is done in the background and would prompt a reboot after installation is complete.

Maybe this helps, sounds like the same issue with another ROM.

https://forum.xda-developers.com/7t-pro/development/10-carbonrom-cr-8-0-t4160681/post83566287

I don't remember if lineage is still using a custom vendor or other partitions though, so I'd probably just flash lineage to both slots the first flash, and then use OTA.

Edit: Yup just checked the LOS wiki recommends copying partitions for this device so both A/B are same. Check the section titled "preinstall instructions" in this page.

Thank you!

Yup, I did flashed the script. I followed the pre-install instructions on first installation.

Have you ever updated the ROM? If yes, please share the process.

But I lose 15% of the battery even when the display is off

You are correct. I decided to put this to a test.

Battery was charged full around 12AM. It was down to 93% around 5AM. WiFi off, Mobile Data off, no AOD. Battery life on Standby is truly bad on LOS.

Hm.. I have updated it, but not since it went official. I tried many custom ROMs a few months ago, used lineage for a bit and went back to OOS as it was more mature. I plan to switch back to a custom ROM soon since I don't expect to like OOS 11. Hopefully someone else is able to help you with updating. If TWRP backups worked I would have tried myself right now.

HD1907 TMobile Oneplus Pro 7T hotdogt

Installed LineageOS 17.1 lineage-17.1-20200929-nightly-hotdog-signed.zip all went just fine. However it won't recognize the sim card. Any pointers to figure out the problem?

Looking closer it appears the TMobile HD1907 is not on the list of supported devices according to the wiki.

Supported models
HD1910
HD1911
HD1913
HD1917

So would it be as easy as building from source and making sure to extract proprietary blobs from the HD1907 version? They are all pretty close to the same phone I would believe.

HD1907 is OnePlus 7T. You are in the wrong forum

Me too, it actually worked pretty darn good too.

Only thing that really didn't outright work was the SIM card.
The fingerprint scanner was half working. It was off as if it was not being found in the right spot on the screen
And the AutoRotate was rotating all backwards.

Other than that wifi and everything else worked great!

Which makes me think it can't be that far off from being able to have a stable nightly build.

i would like to report @LuK1337 that this works perfectly on a OnePlus 7T Tmobile model just fine everything works data wifi bluetooth ect.. so far so good

---------- Post added at 06:35 AM ---------- Previous post was at 06:35 AM ----------

P.S.= only thing wrong so far is the screen rotation other than that everything works as expected
P.S.= camera doesnt work on it either but i assumed as much for it not being a 7TPro device

Also flashed on 7t (non pro) euro version. Everything works great, but then I find no camera app works :(. Such a pity. The differences between 7t & 7t pro are not big, only the screen AFAIK.

Did anyone manage to make google pay work recently? Tried everything I could think of, but google pay still says I'm not meeting the security requirements.

Edit: Somehow a few days later its now working

"Install update from recovery"

Still don't understand what is the bootstrap procedure from stock ROM, what does it mean "Install from recovery". Is it possible with stock recovery?

Maybe this is the correct sequence?

* Find in the internets a tool to extract images from payload.bin, for example, an open-source python tool: https://github.com/vm03/payload_dumper
* Extract .img files from payload.bin.
* Reboot to bootloader (power off, then volUp + volDown + power).
* "fastboot boot lineageRecovery.img".
* "Apply update from ADB".
* On PC, "adb sideload lineage.zip".

Is it correct? Just it's not documented, maybe there is a simpler way?

Howdy all,
Thanks for the ROM OP! It worked great the first time I installed it !
However, I returned to stock and relocked the bootloader for a while (successful, it works just fine on stock now) and am now having trouble trying to reinstall Lineage.
I get as far as sideloading the copy-partitions.zip and it fails saying:
"product_b dd: /dev/block/dm-1: write error: No space left on device
Partition vendor_b dd: /dev/block/dm-2: write error: No space left on device"

Anyone know how I can get past this?
Thanks in advance!

Would it be possible to support hotdogb (op7t) too? This ROM flashes and works but camera does not ?

Yes, you can sideload Lineage and GAPP's that way. You will also have to wipe data before your first boot.

Hi,
I would like to downgrade so I'm able to install LOS17.1 with MicroG (last build from december 04, but i'm on LOS build from december 15) (don't want to wait until next MicroG release which should be 3 weeks from now). Could anybody post instructions?
I have tried sideloading the downgrade zip from this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...a-oxygen-os-repo-of-oxygen-os-builds.4003455/ but adb just returns:

adb sideload OnePlus7TProOxygen_14.E.15_OTA_015_all_2002022101_downgrade_c57aa0c5f31a450f.zip
adb: failed to read command: Success

Also, I think I have an HD1913 but I'm not quite sure, didn't find how to look that up. Any ideas on that?

Thanks, an cheers to Luke1337 for your good work, decided to upgrade from OP6 to OP7TPro because I saw that you are maintaining LOS for this device too =)

Edit: I'm on Linux, so the instructions from this thread won't work for me either...

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 10, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

    Instructions :
    • Download the latest build and gapps
    • Boot to recovery
    • Flash the latest build
    • Boot to recovery again
    • Flash gapps
    • Reboot
    Downloads :
    Reporting Bugs
    • DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
    • Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
    • If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
    • If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.

Would love to try this out but I got the OnePlus 7t pro 5g McLaren can I do that with this phone?

    No, hotdog != hotdogg.
    2
Can I install this on the OnePlus7t pro 5G McLaren from TMobile usa I would like to be able to use costum ROMs like I did on the T-Mobile OnePlus 7 pro
    2
i'm in USA and getting the T-Mobile version. is there anyone in here who has personally gotten it to boot on the T-Mobile Oneplus 7T 5G Edition Mclaren (what a mouth full) . like previously said it should at least boot up and run i cant imagine the kernel etc being that different just the radio will problably need work. Phone should be here today so i'll start syncing source now. to the OP where are your device trees and vendor blobs? all just on your github or have you merged with TheMuppets and LOS? Truth be told i could probably figure all this out with a bit of googiling but i swear every time i start working on a new device i make it hard on myself by neglecting to come to the forums first. i just dont want to be cloning the wrong device tree forks and not be on the same page
    1
I'm getting the same errors side-loading LineageOS 18 on OnePlus 7T. How can I get an error log like this on my computer? I can see the log in Lineage Recovery, but I'm having trouble pulling it via some sort of ADB command. Thanks! also, did deleting the partitions as @LuK1337 suggested fix your problem? Thanks a bunch.
Yes, it did, and I have been running LOS 18 since daily. I apologise but I do not remember how I got the recovery.log file.
