oos camera have same issue with blurring pictures in portrait mode. btw have 90/60 Hz screen setting work properly? can`t see the difference, it looks like 90 Hz all the time. Never used 60 HZ on my phone but I know that on stock it looks like frame skipping, maybe here is working properly, thats why I ask

That's how the rom is. It is already smooth enough for 60Hz refresh rate . What OOS did was if upscaled it's animations to match with 90Hz . We have not scaled any animations.

If you want to see the actual difference
Go to developer options , slow down all the animations (5x+) and then see the difference.


As far as blur goes on portrait mode , check the pictures I clicked in my earlier post. It seems to blur fine for me.

Reboot to fastbootd
Then

fastboot erase vendor
fastboot flash vendor vendor.img

reboot

See screenshots. Not sure what you are doing wrong .probably you need to update your firmware

the issue is front camera. rear cam works ok. while using front cam and in viewfinder background is blurred as it should, but when you take the photo blurred background is gone. I use oos cam for video recording most of the time becouse gives more stable videos, gcam for photos is better imho but it`s good to have stock working cam. I hope you understand me what I want to say becouse english is not my native language
Please when you can take a look at AOD and Ambient display and gestures, double tap isn`t working when aod is set to signle tap gesture. Mate these are little issues and I know they will be fixel along the way. rom is great and I really enjoy it Hope others also! focus on things you think arre important

I feel like I am being a Bone Head here. I have researched for the last few hours how to extract this Payload.bin File. All the years doing this, I have never needed to do this. So learning is good. I keep getting the following error when I do the extraction. Please put me on the enlighten path.

just search for payload dumper on the net. extract the zip and put payload.bin inside input folder of extracted payload dumper zip. after that start the app payload dumper. wait for process to finish. when it's done follow the procedure from first post

I did that. That is the error that I got when I ran the command. I included the command I ran as well.

easy tutorial. i use linux and you just do two commands. thats it.

I rebooted the computer and moved the files to another directory and worked like it was supposed to. I am guessing it was a Permission issue on the Directory.

Can you explain the AOD issue In detail? How to reproduce it?

Also I spoke to a tester from Havoc . He says he too had issues with portrait so apparently the issue persists in all roms .

Did you enable face unlock? What was the firmware you were on before you came to this rom? I mean OOS version
