Hi, i would like to try this Rom.
Is there possible to have a summary of what is actually not working ?

Compared to OOS, does it really worth it ?

I used to use RR on my Oneplus X, and it was awesome. But the gap was huge, don't know if it's the same now as they made a lot of improvment in their operating systems.

If recommend against it as there is little to no probability of another update any time soon.

I am OOS 11, the local upgrade option disallows downgrading to 10.0.12 as required by this rom. Can anyone point me to the proper procedure to downgrade oos11 to 10?

use the MSM unbrick tool to flash 10.0.14 in EDL mode. here is the link for the Page to download the Tool. https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...l-to-restore-your-device-to-oxygenos.4002909/ The OP says 10.0.12 for resurrection remix, but I flashed to it from 10.0.14 and everything worked perfect

Thanks! Got it to work and I love RR! Always had RR since my oneplus 3 and 3t.

However, several important apps cannot be installed, Playstore says incompatible model. These apps include Revolut, Netflix, and a few others.

I installed the apk for Revolut, but I simply cant get it to validate my pin, even though I know for sure my pin is correct. A pin reset works, but after the validation it asks me to login at which point my new pin no longer works.

So unfortunately, I need to look elsewhere or go back to stock OOS.

Maybe it's because of root. I know Netflix for sure Doesn't like root. You might try Magisk DRM disabler or liboemcrypto disabler. I haven't used either one just see them when I'm scrolling through the modules list

Possibly. I do use magisk hide on literally everything except what needs root. Also, never had an issue on OOS 10 or 11 with Magisk and apps not liking root.

Been at it all day now and Im kind of reaching the limit of my patience mucking around :D. I like tinkering though, but it has limits haha!

Maybe they have something in those apps that recognizes Resurrection remix or something? Maybe you can do something on your build.prop to trick those apps into thinking you're not using Resurrection remix?

Could be, but I don't think so, I've had this before on a Huawei mediapad tablet and now Im experiencing it on my phone. Even after a complete reset (with msm reflash in recovery mode, clean flash of 10.0.11) Playstore tells me some apps are no longer compatible with my phone (like revolut and netflix). Its like it remembers something from before.

Anyway my perils are beyond the scope of this thread. I'll figure something out :).

had the same issue yesterday
1. Do magisk app hide (reinstalls with diffrent name)
2. Do magish hide for every google app you find
3. clean playstore data
4. reboot

    Download the Catlog app from the Play Store.
    There is also a donate version which you can purchase to show appreciation.

    Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving. As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into Catlog and stop the log recording.

    Q1 Why can't I reboot to fastbootd?

    Because you don't have the latest fastboot tools from google. Get them HERE


    Q2 Fastboot -w is not recognized as a command

    You are not on fastbootd . You are on regular fastboot(bootloader)
    Reboot to fastbootd with fastboot reboot fastboot( from bootloader) or adb reboot fastboot (from system).
    Fastbootd looks like OOS recovery and not like regular fastboot


    Q3 I can't pass safetynet/I can't get cts profile to be valid.Now?



    Q4 OTA updater doesn't work?     FIXED

    Either you have not done a clean flash if coming from another rom (fastboot -w) or you have missed something in flashing.
    Make sure you follow all the steps. and make sure you have the latest fastboot tools from the link above to access fastbootd


    Q6 Fingerprint scanner causes screen glitch

    Q8 WIll This work for Mclaren Edition of the phone?

    Yes. Im personally using a HD 1913 McLaren edition. Altough I have heard reports of the t-mobile one (HD1915) having issues with RIL.
    Other variants should be fine.
    HD1915 I'm not sure about the 5G being retained .if it works on LOS 17.1 it works here too. Same rules apply


    Q9 Why isn't X feature there? Its there in xyz rom

    I have recently worked on this due to the quarantine situations that gave me time to work on it. I have worked alone and currently I am working on my own because everyone is busy with their own lives right now. If you have a feature request, I will not guarantee adding it because I may get busy.
    I built this ROM for personal use but since evryone is sitting at home now I thought to publish it.


    Q10 Why didn't we develop RR Q this year?

    Same reason. Everybody busy with real life.


    Q11 Will we be back in the next Android version?

    Sure.


    Q12 Will this Rom get updates?

    Yes. Regular upto some point


    Q13 Does this ROM come with OOS CAM?

    Yes although video recording is broken. Everything else works fine . Use Snap (stock) cam for this.

    Q14 Can I build this rom from source?

    Currently no as only I have access to that. I want to keep it this way for Android 10 to avoid all the hastle.


    Q15 Any other supported devices?

    None as of now and I dont plan to. This rom is only for the Oneplus 7T Pro, OnePlus 7 pro and OnePlus 6T fajita as the others have a lot of roms anyways. Although I might just make this build for Oneplus6 (enchilada)
