Yep. Just flash LineageOS to both slots using LineageOS recovery and adb sideload (from a computer), then flash mindTheGapps if you want gapps, then reboot to LineageOS recovery, then flash magisk zip (the apk file can be renamed.zip to flash).

will the lineageos recovery install automatically when i flash lingeageos?
"adb sideload magisk.zip" while in LOS recovery. Yes on recovery being replaced by LOS recovery.

been using this rom for a few weeks and it mostly works very good for me (updating it weekly)
I have a question/problem with WiFi channels on the 5GHz band.
TL;DR - Rom only supports channels 36-64 on 5ghz band in ISRAEL
A few months ago, there was an update to the `wireless-regdb` (which basically is like the bible of wifi bands and channels around the world and is used by the kernel), this update added support for higher channel in Israel (like channel 100-149 etc.)
I am wondering where can I see which version of `wireless-regdb` is used by this rom and whether the devs can update it?
Don't know how important it is but I also have a OP5T which runs official LineageOS 19.1 and it works with all channels support in Israel.
This is the relevant kernel commit:
and the latest release is dated August 12

It's like asking why your car doesn't have a better engine from factory. Ask the manufacturer.
1. I assumed the maintenair of the device looks at this thread
2. There could be a lot of simple reasons for using another engine, like cost and over or under power for the chassis and its weight etc. In our case if the kernel *is* for this device, you can have it without extra cost or specs problem.
I expected that a reason could be that the LOS project does not want to deal with extra issues that don't come from the development of the ROM or similar (so everyone on a standard kernel). If that's the case I'd be more willing to try. If instead maintenairs have a certain degree of freedom on the kernel, than likely the kernel you suggested had issues that were't worth what is solving.

To update OEM firmware, do I have to make a backup of my current LOS system? Will I lose all root mods, Magisk install, data and buildprop edits after I update the firmware with fastbootd?
OEM firmware is oos10, not LineageOS 18.1. If you update then you'll replace oos10 with LineageOS and you'll need to format data so you'll lose all info
I already flashed LOS18.1 over OOS11. I want to add the latest Vendor* software in LOS18.1.

Use payloaddumper.exe (win10 required) to extract vendor.img from latest LOS18.1 payload.bin and put file into adb folder on PC. Then go into fastbootd mode and type "fastboot flash vendor vendor.img"

No need because the baseband version of 11.0.7.1, 11.0.8.1 and 11.0.9.1 is the same as fw 11.0.6.1 :

Reminder: if you don’t want to rely on Magisk to pass SafetyNet attestation, use ih8sn !

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 11, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. - Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)

This was tested on the May 30th LOS build, below I list a few notes to keep in mind for anyone interested:
- In my limited testing, APKs with version number 3.X.X are the newest ones that can be installed and actually work. Specifically 3.8.116 is the most stable I've found. The apk can be download here (APKMirror link).
- The app will always crash upon normal launch. In order to use it you must long press on the app icon and select one of the popup shortcuts (Pro, Take a video, Selfie, or Portrait). Launching from any of these shortcuts the camera app will work and so far I believe all the camera features work.
- There might be occasional crashes mostly due to switching between camera modes too much (Most notable on other 3.X.X versions).
- In Photo mode (not Pro mode) the aspect ratio button works only on 4:3 and 1:1, switching to fullscreen will render photo mode unusable as the app will crash upon switching to it. Other modes will still function as normal and Pro mode can use fullscreen aspect ratio without issues. If you accidentally switched to fullscreen aspect ratio in photo mode then it can be fixed by clearing the app data.
- The gallery button does not work, likely due to the missing oneplus gallery apk. Probably it will work with it installed but I haven't tested that yet.
- Systemlessly installing the app to the system folder does not improve anything. So installing the apk as any other normal sideloaded app is probably the best option.
