Try using crdroid recovery 12.1 I think the issue you guys got is from crdroid recovery 12.0 which is incompatible with 8.3/8.4/8.5

Thanks, I was able to flash the Rom & Gapps. Now I'm getting an error on initial starup config: "Android Setup keeps stopping."

I was able to complete the installation and the Rom appears to be working fine. Unfortunately, my phone suffers from the shutdown bug. The strange thing is that if I leave a live Youtube video running, or a full screen game, the phone will stay on. If I leave it idle it will randomly shut down. It does not happen, however, while charging. Anyone know if this can be corrected by software? I was hoping a custom Rom might correct the issue, but this one at least does not.

Thanks for being one of the few developers who supports this phone!

Installed without issue, only thing is I had to manually set the preferred network type to get 5g working, but no big deal. Overall the ROM feels quite smooth so far!

NOTE: Default camera and gallery are from OxygenOS to have all features and cameras working. Video section of the camera will force close the app, you can take videos but doing a long press on camera shutter button.

I love this rom but only one issue . When placing calls the phone will ring to the person I am calling however I cannot hear the phone ringing on my end .Is there a fix for this ? Thanks

Just upgraded from the previous major version of this ROM. One of the symptoms I was hoping would be resolved was creating a new APN. On the previous version, I could create one, enter all the details, and save it. But it would not show on the list of APNs for selection. I just now repeated these steps on this version, and still only the three original APNs were listed. The new one I created was not even after a restart. Any idea why this would not work?

I just installed it today, Great and Smooth ROM

Getting one issue, If I try to insall GApps with Pixel Launcher in it, The launcher and crHome stopped working (screen keeps on flashing in Cr Home launcher app), I am using Nova 7 launcher now, but Recent Apps (Bottom to top) gesture is not working. Only Back (left or right) is working.

I need to restore a backup from Google, any solution?
Google setup wizard is included in OMNI NikGapps but it also has Pixel launcher which gives error.

CrHome is fine if I use CORE Nikgapps.

I upgraded (i.e. reimage) from 11.0 / x7.x to this ROM a couple weeks ago, and it's been running fine. I was also able to repeat my steps at the link below to obtain root:

Yes, working fine for me. I have installed it yesterday. Everything is smooth. Only install Core NikGapps with it.
