I am very impress with evolution_instantnoodlep-ota-sq1d.220105.007-01221058-unofficial-unsigned.zip

The 1st Android S 12 build.

Everything is on point, except High Brightness Toggle in the quick setting tiles does not work.

And this is the 1st custom A12 rom for 8Pro, that does not include gapps (that I found.)

Anyone using shelter or island with this ROM?

I use Island but not on the newest update. I am rooted and modded to the gills. Microsoft Authenticator flagged me months ago though so I can't test fully. I had switched to Island in hopes of escaping my digital life habits/exposure but it hasn't worked. I believe had I discovered either of those apps prior to being flagged I'd be accessing my work info much more conveniently. I'd have to admit though, not being able to do easily access my email from work hasn't exactly been a bad thing.

I always had issues with crdroid and using Island or shelter with m$ apps. I could get past SafteyNet but can't get office apps to login. I think it's an issue in the base (AOSP I think). I forget the error

Next time I dip back into Stock I'll mess with it. Maybe that contributed to my issues. Very possible. Tks for sharing.

Thanks for the work. I tested the Crdroid 12 rom and it don't work with Verizon. No Sim Detected.

Ok using now but definitely has a couple issues. The fingerprint doesn't work and is off center and the clock in the status bar is over the camera as you can see in the photos. Will this get fixed through the updater?

You flashed to 99% the wrong rom. Instandnoodlep is the right and not Instandnoodle

Great Rom, been using it as my daily driver for about 2 months now!

But I do have a few minor issues:

- The status bar is really really close to the front camera, it would be really nice if there would be a little more space between the current time and the front cam
- I don't really know how to describe it, but somewhere in the bottom right of my screen I can't click on anything... I can still get into recents and scrolling works too, but tapping on buttons (e.g. in setup windows the 'Next' button) are really hard to hit and most of the time it's pure luck when I actually hit them... Never had this problem in other roms and I sadly have no clue, what the problem could be
- There is a black gap at the bottom of my screen, I just can't seem to use it... This is not the case in e.g. LineageOS or CarbonROM
- After a reboot (or really rarely when my phone's uptime is quite long) this rom seems to 'forget' some settings, e.g. 'Show Ambient display with a single tap' or 'Show Ambient display on new notification'

Sorry for not being any more descriptive, sadly enough I just don't know how to... But I'd really love it if you could look into it!

I dunno what you mean for 2 and 3, but I know about point number 1. The status bar icons and the clock next to the punch hole on the 8 pro can get close to it. It can be annoying, but actually, all the icons including the clock shift positions left or right over time to prevent burn-in. I'm not sure if the maintainer can change this and this is why sometimes the clock can seem a bit too close and there's no toggle to turn it off as of now

I figured out that 2 & 3 are really my bad, although 2 was probably a little bit caused by 3... I'm not sure, but I fixed it by turning off the gesture bar length (I had full gesture control turned on, that created the black bar at the bottom of my screen ^^)

As for point 1: Look at this picture a friend of mine took when I run Havoc-OS on my instantnoodlep. The paddings/margins are really nice, everything has it's own space and nothing looks too compressed. Can we please have this here too?

And one other thing: How about an Alarm/Wakelock blocker? Is there any interest in implementing this? I'd love to see that in crDroid too!

I know this i quite a lot of stuff, but I'm just trying to make some genuine suggestions of useful things to have in a custom rom.
