You will need to disable "Ultra Wide Lens Correction" in the Settings in order to use wide angle camera.Hello. Thanks for the hard work. I'm reporting bugs that I found in the camera app.
1. Can't switch to wide angle camera. The main camera stays active. Tried both tapping the button and gradually zooming out when holding it.
2. Can't switch to 48mp picture format. Which means that one can only take pictures at 12mp. When trapping the option, the app crashes. I'm not sure if that's normal, but for me the whole point of having OOS camera is keeping the high resolution.
I am running crDroid v8.7 by the way.
Thanks, this worked for me. But as it says, the distortion in the image is quite noticeable. I wonder if it can be fixed somehow. What about the inability to use the full 48mp picture quality ?
Good evening. I found the cause of the screen vibration during a call. In device extras -- touchscreen gestures -- single tap --- set to show ambient display. Disabling this feature resolves the issue.
It did, I just hadn't updated my recovery. I had to clean flash because I was on LOS before, dirty flashing from 7 to 8 might not be recommended.
Mainly for password encryption so u can't factory reset straight from recovery and u need to enter the password... Delete magisk modules that causes bootlooping, Creating nandroid backups and restore and flashing magisk/.zip files. That's probs the main difference between twrp and ROM versions of lineage recovery
Thanks for letting us know. I had a feeling this would be the case. I wonder which firmware variant it will require? Most of the new ROMs are recommending the C33 FW, which is available for both the European and Indian Variants; however for those of us on the International variants (IN2025) the latest FW available is C16, I think you can then OTA to C33, but the only non-incremental here seems sketchy at best.As this XDA thread has been quiet for a while. There has been an update about the support for CrDroid 8 (A12/A12.1)...
CrDroid 8.7 will be the last build and there won't be 8.8 or any new updates sadly.
Going forward, the new maintainer Saurabh Parab will be releasing CrDroid 9 (A13) this month and will be based on/ Requires OOS 12. A new XDA thread will be created and a method to install it will be posted when it comes out
U should join the telegram chat if u want status updates with the dev + ROM (NOT ETA/estimated time of update arrival) and contact with the new maintainer
