So I'm on Android 11 on a GM 1917 using Kimecoder kernel that comes from the nethunter site and after flashing at my fingerprint no longer works, any ideas?
I had this issue with my initial attempt to root. Check if you flashed the wrong rom image for the gm 1917. I believe the 7 and 7pro is a different image as well as global/India vs EU versions. So I'm on Android 11 on a GM 1917 using Kimecoder kernel that comes from the nethunter site and after flashing at my fingerprint no longer works, any ideas?
So what I have done here is install the newest a11 from oos and then flash the newest lineage 18.1 for microG and now attempting to install netHunter on top of thatI had this issue with my initial attempt to root. Just verify the new images match the format for your device and reflash. So what I have done here is install the newest a11 from oos and then flash the newest lineage 18.1 for microG and now attempting to install netHunter on top of that
Would it matter thatI'm installing nethunter for oos 11 instead of los 18.1?Just verify the new images match the format for your device and reflash.
I've downgrade to A10 and complete the step 1 of Nethunter installation process.Another question, staying with android 11, can we use directly the full eleven image with this installation guide without adding any specific kernel (as it should be integrated inside the full image ?
I've tried to use the lastest release and install Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt_11.02.2020.zip. Everything to be ok but after rebooting to system I get a spinning logoI've new questions : can we use the last twrp and magisk release (and not use the specified ones) ?
You should be able to get Nethunter with the Cyberknight 777 kernel to run. I changed my HD1907 - T-Mobile firmware to Global Firmware. As far as I'm aware, China, US and India run Global firmware, where Europe runs European Firmware. You can convert it from European to Global firmware as well I believe.Hello, I get an oneplus 7 model GM9100 with android 11 / oxygenos 11.0.11.GM57AA.
As it is already with android 11, I think it is not recommended to try to downgrade (I want to get the easiest and secure path to get a full nethunter working).
But as it seems to be a China model , could you please confirm that Nethunter will work as it is the case on EU model.
I ask the question because I see written somewhere that twrp is designed for EU MODEL ONLY.
Thanks.
Hello,
I'm having issues installing Nethunter.
I have the last Android version 11.0.8.1
Oneplus 7 Pro GM1913
- Msm tool to go back to stock.
- I unlocked the bootloader (fastboot oem unlock, phone wiped)
- Enabled USB debugging mode again.
- fastboot boot twrp-3.6.2_11-0-guacamole.img
- adb sideload twrp-3.6.2_11-0-guacamole.zip
- rebooted to system and then to recovery to check everything was ok.
- Tutorial said to format data ( Wipe -> format data -> yes ) doing this i got this message in the middle of the logs:
"TWRP will not recreate /data/media on an FBE device. Please reboot into your rom to recreate /data/media"
- Rebooted to system as the message request and it recreated the folders and i could copy files to the internal storage once again.
- Rebooted to Recovery TWRP and installed Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt_11.02.2020.zip and Magisk-v19.3.zip.
- At this point the guide said to reboot to system to finish the setup but never got into the system, instead i get this message:
"Qualcomm CrashDump Mode
Attempted to kill init! exitcode=0x0000000b
do_exit"
Is anyone able to help me ?
With thanks and regard

Yeah, some things which the OP forgot to mention.
This kernel is compatible with OOS Pie..
I'll upload the kernrl separately from the whole Installer a bit later..
