OnePlus 8T
After the new Update, the System Ui crashed and Wifi wont work. The most time the issue is gone, after 1-3 times reboots
But it comes again.
When i flash a custom kernel like radioactive kernel, all is fiine.

I clean flashed the latest crdroid (7.11) yesterday and I haven't had any of the issues you've described. Haven't had ANY issues to be honest.

I had this same issue, after clean installing/reinstalling, I rolled back to previous version for the time being.

Hi. A few days ago I tested the hdmi capabilities of OnePlus 8t and I came across an issue - 60hz lock. As far as I am concerned - it happens on all phones except nubia redmagic, so it seems to be a software limitation. Does ur rom support 120hz hdmi output?

Which Gapps is recommened, nik,open,etc. Also anyone get nanodroid micog to work ?
rather have microg but need the patched playstore to work for couple apps i purchased.

I know MindtheGapps works, because that's what I use when I run crdroid on this phone. Not sure about other gapps variants, but you're safe with MTGapps.

Haha to be completely honest, I did the same thing on this exact thread when I first got my 8t and wanted to try some custom ROMs available at the time. For some reason, I kept skipping the gapps part in the install instructions. Maybe we are equally dyslexic or something :) haha jk.

But anyway, no worries man. That's what the community is for.

Try crdroid out yet or still looking into it?

No, actually I was about 2 mins from fishing it last night when I got a call... By time I got off that it was best for me to get some rest. Might give try tonight

I am new to 8T and have a new device on latest stock rom
Guess I have all all prerequisits, except firmware on both slots.

What do I have to do to install stock rom on both slots?

I guess to use TWRP and install stock image on both slots?
But I am not sure if this is all...

Tnx for your help.

    flashing instructions:

    it's recommended to use TWRP for installing.
    • download crDroidAndroid-11.0-XXXXXXXX-kebab-v7.X.zip and gapps-package to internal storage
    • reboot to TWRP
    • flash ROM and TWRP
    • wipe Dalvik
    • reboot to recovery
    • flash gapps (and if you want Magisk)
    • wipe Dalvik
    • reboot system

    the other way:

    for first install:
    • be on the latest firmware on both slots
    • download the file named like this: crDroidAndroid-11.0-XXXXXXXX-kebab-v7.X-install-files.zip
    • unpack zip to desktop (or whereever you want)
    • reboot to bootloader
    • run ROMinstaller.bat
    • follow instructions
    • if you want to install gapps:
    • enter recovery
    • Apply update
    • Apply from ADB
    • from your computer: adb sideload (gapps package).zip , i recommend MindTheGapps, because with this package i could update without having to install Gapps again
    • factory reset
    • reboot to system
    to update:
    • download the file named like this: crDroidAndroid-11.0-XXXXXXXX-kebab-v7.X.zip in the internal updater and update it
    some large gapps packages will not install due to lack off space
