I am new to 8T and have a new device on latest stock rom
Guess I have all all prerequisits, except firmware on both slots.

What do I have to do to install stock rom on both slots?

I guess to use TWRP and install stock image on both slots?
But I am not sure if this is all...

Tnx for your help.

Which variant do you have? If you have already updated the system firmware it should be on both slots.

Instructions:
https://lineageosroms.com/kebab/ - Lineage install instructions include an file to copy your firmware to the inactive slot.

Variant?

My device is on B and when I switch to A after copy-partitions, device shows unlocked screen, then gets dark and after a while "Qualcom crash dump" screen.

When I boot to twrp, when I am on slot B /data looks normal. On A /data is 0!?

Switching back to B, it boots as normal...

Any hint?

Dear dev, can you fix the Fullscreen resolution for Kodi please?
It's only on 2296x1080p.

Hi
I've read the OP and it says recommended way of flashing is Via TWRP. I am coming from OOS 11. It then goes on to say flash by ROMInstaller in Fastboot the first time. Question, can I flash from TWRP coming from OOS?

My way coming from oos was to install via TWRP.
But you need also the twrp-installer in the same version like TWRP self.
After format data and reboot to twrp you can flash crdroid, after this you have to flash the installer. Reboot to recovery and flash the stuff you need, like Gapps and magisk.

What is users average battery life on this rom, using another rom i average 41 hours with medium use.
I use my device between 20 and 80%.
In this range it's possible for me to run the phone 2d with 5h sot (60% Battery).
So, you see there are 40% unused battery capacity and it's possible to run the phone you about 3 days with 7,5h sot.
But maybe there are some differences between my own and your usability.
I don't play any games, i use the phone in 60hz, I have a lot of settings to get these timings.
Battery guru can help you to get more off your battery.
Naptime is useless for me.
Since a few weeks where I use battery guru the timings are stronger.

Okay because I get 41 hours with 7 hours SOT and no battery guru. But it lacks the depth of customization that

I don't play games most of the time, and my screen is usually set to 120hz. The 41 hours I get is at 21% left before charging. My SOT is usually between 6/7 hours with no battery guru. I want to switch to this rom bc of the vast customization abilities and only really need 24 hours full charge with 7 hours SOT

1d with 6-7h sot in the 60% smart charging range are absolutely no problem.
My screen is actually at 6,3% per hour.
So 6,3%x7h=44,1% and 15,9% left.
15,9%/17h=0,9%/h = ez xD

Awesome break down lol, I will be making the switch later. Just love the customization and extra features other roms don't offer for this device.
