Formatting is only option, just copy the files off. Format then copy back.Hi all,
I installed latest CrDroid 7.12.
When I plug in my SanDisk 500GB exfat USBC flash drive, it is correctly shown as 500GB exfat.
But reported as damaged.
I checked it, it is NOT damaged. Works fine...
- ...on my OnePlus 6T (using Resurrection Remix, Android 10)
- ...on my Linux & Windows laptop. (Linux & Windows filesystem checks report no error.)
- ... with latest TWRP on 8T.
What do I have to do, to get it mounted in CrDroid?
(No, formatting is no option because it is ok, no damage.)
Tnx in advance,
No idea why, but from experience you only 2 options are format or don't use with crdroid.
NOTE: Install to Inactive Slot is disabled in newer builds of the Magisk app due to changes that Google introduced to the OTA process:
TWRP A/B Retention Script Zip Module
We need an interoperable root ecosystem again. A/B and system-as-root were a big setback to the root community in this respect.
To help alleviate this issue, this atypical Magisk script zip "module" will keep TWRP installed to both slots when flashed from Magisk Manager after an A/B OTA has installed in the background, but must be used before you use Manager to install Magisk to inactive slot.
Not ROM related.Merry Christmas everyone!
Question for anyone that has run into this problem: I am not able to receive gifs from iphone users using Google messages. Does anyone else have this problem?
When I send to an iPhone or Android phone, they receive it normally. I can receive gifs from other Android users normally. Just from iPhones is the problem. For context, my wife's Galaxy s21 receives gifs just fine from iphone users. She has stock Samsung's android and I have crDroid ROM. Any thoughts?
