Hey i just installed havac os but my Wi-Fi and Bluetooth have stopped working. while rooting around in the settings i found that both my ip address and mac address shows up as unavailable. I don't know if that's relevant to the issue but who knows ?.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Have you figured out solution for ur problem? I have same issue although issue was there with different rom also earlier.

From what I know there is partition in Android os called persist which has device specific or unique parameters like Mac IDs and all. When that partition is messed up such issue comes. I still don't know how to solve this issue. So any inputs in this regards would be highly appreciated.

How to install latest build 4.8 for kenzo? I tried to follow same process I followed for installing 3.12, using orangefox recovery after wiping and formating data, it gives error code -1 and fails to flash rom.

Since the latest build fails to flash, I tried to flash some of the older havoc os 4.8 builds. They flashed correctly, and the os runs faster and smoother than havoc os 3.12. But there is a critical bug.

When running havoc os 4.8, my kenzo is unable to connect to my home wifi router. The only way I am able to use wifi is then by creating a hotspot on my sister's phone and using that.

Havoc os 3.12 did not have this bug. My kenzo connected fine to my home wifi. Only havoc 4.8 has this bug. Please fix this asap, as havoc os 4.8 is otherwise better
Wifi connection you have problem with... Is it hidden network? Sometimes devices or roms/os have issues with hidden wifi. Try changing your network to visible and check if it works, i you want.

No, it is not a hidden network. All the devices in my home connect to it. It's my home wifi router. When havoc os 3.12 was installed on my kenzo, it worked fine, and connected smoothly to my home wifi router network. After clean installing havoc os 4.8, my kenzo is unable to connect to my home wifi network

According to Magicxavi it's best to flash MIUI 8 Developer ROM in order to fix the issues with the persist partition for good.

Did you try the last Havoc 4.8 Unofficial build? It requires a specific recovery to flash as per the dev himself. Don't use the official builds. @mojo_

Where to get this MIUI 8 Developer ROM, and the required specific recovery? Where are these details mentioned? I have joined the havoc os telegram group, and also the havoc os xiaomi telegram group, but no one replied to my questions there regarding installation of havoc os 4.8 on kenzo

Recovery link is located towards the bottom.
Also the group link https://t.me/havoc_kenzo
Reportedly the dev's Kenzo is now non-functional.
Dunno about the MIUI ROM.
I only got my Kenzo back after 2+ years after my father bought a RN10 Pro. It's running AEX 4.7. Looking for a more modern ROM.

Regarding the ROM found a couple https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/archive/miui/kenzo/
Verify before using any of the above.

Using the dev's specific recovery, and the latest havoc 4.8 unofficial build, I am now able to flash the unofficial build. However, like before, I am still unable to connect to my home wifi router.

It seems the dev has based havoc os 4.8 for kenzo on MIUI 8 like you have said previously, instead of the latest stable MIUI 10?

From these links, which rom do you recommend I flash? I have used havoc os 3.12 previously just fine with MIUI Global Stable 10.2.1.0

No idea. I just flashed Havoc 3.12.
Got it. Maybe I will have to go back to 3.12 eventually too, after I have finished my experimentation with 4.8. Havoc 4.8 does look to be better than 3.12, it is faster and smoother and runs a newer android version, with more recent security patches, though some features are missing compared to 3.12.

The most important thing is that 4.8 is SELinux Enforcing, whereas 3.12 was SELinux Permissive.

I flashed miui 8 developer rom first using miflash this time. After booting to miui 8 developer rom, it connected to my home wifi correctly when running miui 8 developer rom.

After that, i followed standard procedure to boot from orangefox recovery(i had to reinstall orangefox, then flashed correct specific recovery version to install havoc 4.8)

Then I flashed latest unofficial build of havoc os 4.8, then gapps. Same result. Havoc os 4.8 is unable to connect to my home router. Only able to connect to my second mobile's hotspot

Bug is in havoc os 4.8 itself. My home wifi is not a hidden wifi

I can't install any version of gapps.

I tried arm and arm64 versions for BiTGApps and the arm64 for opengapps android 10.

Error code 1 or 70 everytime.
