Even in RC version, its one of the best ROMs, bug-free for everyday use!

20141004 EDIT: I switch to ART, i suggest everyone to do this. It's awesome. I have set the CPU to 700mHz and it runs so smoothly, and of course faster than the dalvik era, plus the battery economy from that cpu limit.

This ROM is amazing! So many options and customizations, and yet, smooth and fast. I'm gonna try it as a daily driver from now on. Great work!

PD: I can't change the icons from the lockscreen slider. I mean I can only use system icons only, is that normal? I'm using the latest nightly.

Call audio problem

Dear all,
first of all I want to thank the developer for the amazing ROM: I love it.
I tried different versions of this ROM (RC2, RC3 and the latest nightly) and with all of them I am facing the following problem: all these ROMs work perfectly but only for a couple of days, then suddenly I have NO AUDIO in the phone calls (to be more accurate: I cannot hear anything and neither can my interlocutor).
The same problem occurs with Cyanogenmod 11 (nightly reseased 24 Dec. 2014) and with OMNI Rom. The only ROM that doesn't give me this problem seems to be MIUI (V6, sMIUI kitkat based)
Does anyone have any idea about how to fix it?
(P.S. I want to add that rebooting in recovery and wiping cache and dalvik doesn't solve it).
I would really appreciate any help!

I found a solution.
Check what another said


Please test this:

First re-enable the disabled Google services. Restart your phone and try to make a call,then when no sound:

Take out your SIM card then re-insert and re-start your phone.
Go To: Settings/Mobile Networks/Access Point Names (APNs) top right three dots/ Click: Reset to Default.
Click your carrier's name--"Edit acces point" menu--APN Protocol--Change this from IPV4 to IPv6. Then 3 dots-save.
Restart and report what happend.

It's weird cause everything was working fine but every time I tried to call someone with VoIP apps the other person couldn't hear me. I'll try install it again, if you tell me it works for you I hope it will also for me!

It doesn't seem like I'm the only one with this problem. Pac Rom is based on cm so if it's a cm11 bug it's also in Pac rom. I wonder why I have this problem and you don't

Well that's a very old issue.There is a mic issue currently but only in calls not voip calls.Personally i had this issue but suddenly dissapeared without changing anything as for most of the people i think.I suggest you do a clean install and install latest stable version which is 31/12/14 i think.Also don't install any sound mod for a day or two if you did untill now.

I made a clean install and everything is working fine now! It was probably cause I had installed extreme beats mod before.
