K and I used the turn screen on without sensors all along and the battery is still draining
If it's still draining then just disable ambient display all together. If that's not it try an app like Wakelock Detector, it'll tell you what's keeping your phone awake. Other than that, Google is also your friend.

And I posted a question about that I can't access twrp when the device is off, it's only showing boot logo, do you have any advice?

I just use the button combo to access it from off or a boot loop. Hold ALL 3 buttons, a few seconds after you see the MI logo let go of ONLY the power button and keep the 2 volume buttons pressed, then release when you see the TWRP splash screen. Or is that what's not working for you?

It takes a long time, could be 15 or 20 seconds, just keep holding them in that pattern.

WORKED!!
But I can't see any storage (I think because of the adoptable storage)
What do you do?
Install a custom twrp?

Charge amperage will vary based on battery level and temperature. Also try a different charger and cable combination.

Do you have Ambient Display enabled? Make sure it's disabled. And Pocket detection, I forget where that setting is, it might be in display.

Are you rooted? Or using the built in root? Install Kernel Adiutor and make sure core control is enabled with apply on boot. Zero heating issues here. You're running the stock kernel yea?
Root with magisk .
default kernel with this rom.
Also which setting change in kernal adiutor ?

Weird, I didn't see anywhere that I was quoted :S. You mean for overheating? Make sure core control is enabled in the thermal section. And apply on boot. But I think it's already enabled by default with the stock kernel. If it is and you're still overheating I'm not sure, zero problems here.

I interested to use this rom, and first time to use custom rom. and I have few question:
1. is it necessary to flash firmware ? my previous rom is MIUI global 9.5.1.0
2.how to use magisk instead of build in root? should I flash magisk zip without full un-root first ?

1. You're already using latest fimrware, no need to flash firmware again
2. If you already use build in root, full unroot first to avoid any error, then you can flash magisk zip
But you can also flash the zip right away after flashing rom ( i suggest after the first boot)

No need to fully unroot. Magisk will also work fine with pre-rooted ROMs

Do you happen to know if the brightness is acting erratic like in the 8.1 crDroid?
The auto-brightness sometimes is too low but I notice this once or twice here and there.

It is not very erroneous though and in crDroid 8.1 official and unofficial , I did not face much problem with this.
So not sure if you had an extremely bad experience with auto-brightness.
