Do you have wireless calling or it's also not available for you? I ask because I can't get it to work on my op 9 pro, I'm also with VerizonI'm on Verizon, and I don't see the 5G icon on my status bar when connected to NR. I know it's working because apps like Network Signal Guru correctly show that I'm connected to 5G NR, and I am getting 5G speeds. I read that this is due to Verizon not sending something called an UpperLayerIndicator signal, however some phones show the 5G icon when connected to NR regardless of the presence of that signal. I was wondering if this could be fixed so that the status bar shows the 5G icon when connected to NR
wdym by "wireless calling?" If you mean wifi calling, then no, I don't have it unfortunately, but I do have VoLTE
Lmao, my auto corrector must have done that and I didn't even noticed, yes I meant VOWIFI, it sucks that even though this phone is under the list of compatible phones with Verizon, they don't support it 100%, if CDMA less is already turned on and the phone is wifi calling capable, I don't see a reason why they can't or won't provision it to have wifi calling. That's the only thing that disappointed me from Verizon, other than that their service to me is clearly the best
I don't think it will make any changesHello everyone! Has anybody updated to the android 12 vendor firmware yet using lineage os 18? I am reluctant but have been updating as new OOS updates come out. so far no issues.
Also did the baseband version change in the latest update? Id love to see if there are any new CA bands or general signal improvements. For those wondering what I am talking about these are the instructions I am using.
Google pay works out the box with gapps..I don't know about the oos cam but if you find out let me know I tried and had no luck. Using greatness gcam mod instead for the moment.Hey everyone! Thanks to the new OOS12 Update I'm about to switch to LOS once again. However I have two questions in advance since I haven't used LOS on the OP9 Pro at all and my last time with LOS was on my Mi Mix 2 a while ago.
So first one: Is Google Pay working out of the box with gapps installed or do I need to root and use magisk hide? I can remember without root google pay worked just fine on my mix 2.
Second: Is it possible to install and use the full functionality of the stock OOS cam app? I don't mind using a gcam mod, however I rather like to stay with stock as it works just fine.
Thanks for your replies!
I actually get great battery life with this rom. Give it a few days to settle and check your battery stats. Also 5g kills battery. I leave my phone in lte only unless I am downloading something large.
Thanks! I'll give it a couple more days and see if it starts settling in. Will come back and update
Unfortunately, I think you have to download the OnePlus stock rom, and extract the apk with some cmd line fun-times. While you're in there, you might also look for audio and gpu drivers to have the most optimal experience(no idea how you'd install them). I, saw the process for this apk extraction, and have just opted for a stock-rom experience, and will likely continue to do that until OnePlus stops providing patching/updates. I similarly have been a user of Cyanogen/Lineage as far back as my Samsung S3, and am always very impressed that someone would continue to develop this awesome experience for us.
What is your-- LineageOS version: LineageOS Download url: Gapps version: Did you-- wipe: restore with titanium backup: reboot after having the issue: Are you using-- a task killer: a non-stock kernel: other modifications: Provide any additional information (observations/frequency of problem/last version it worked on/etc) as needed:
This is not a mistake.
You need to flash the MindTheGApps package in this order:
