[ROM][OFFICIAL] LG v20c/v20g (Gingerbread 2.3.3) + CWM + Flash Tool (+ howto root)

I know that command,but... how could we flash the right baseband from recovery? What about the mbn file extension? I tried to decrypt amss.mbn using unyaffsmbn but no luck.

Needs someone familiar with the low-level GSM sh*t. Way above my level.

All I get is

Maybe did I compile it wrong? I used:

gcc -o unyaffsmbn unyaffsmbn.c

and gcc version is 4.4.3 (the one in ubuntu repos I suppose)

Meh. Either it is crypted/otherwise mangled, or it is not yaffs at all.

I wish it was WDB. AFAIK LG-utils decrypts WDB files correctly. Don't remember though

The battery is a circular one. Otherwise, no idea; untested, I am using different ROM at the moment (see signature).

It is official and it is from Romania, the land of Dracula , scary vamps, it can be done with KDZ or with LG update tool.

1. What app can I use to back everything up (contacts, messages, call log, apps and their data etc.)?
2. As posted in another thread, this ROM uses an older kernel. Does this mean that it will also work with Der Caveman's v2 kernel? If not, is an OC really needed under Gingerbread?
3. Can I keep drellisdee's custom recovery installed and use it for flashing?

I don't think Titanium Backup also covers contacts, messages and the call log, unless they each are saved in the data area of their respective application.

Titanium backup for apps. Google sync for contacts or in native menu of contacts. For messages there are some other apps in market.
