Accessing the notification light settings causes Settings to crash for me.
I flashed lineage-18.1-20210723-HOMEMADE-nio.zip

Also, does anyone know how to enable a vertical Recent App selection screen? Rather than having the horizontal app previews, which is annoying to navigate, especially when I want to close all my apps and have to swipe all the way to the right to reach "clear all".

BTW, for anyone that doesn't know, to get root you can use Magisk Manager to patch boot.img for this ROM, then flash that patched image.

There's a few approaches you can follow to do this. Personally, TinyFastbootScript did not work for me at all. I followed the "Lineage Recovery" steps in the OP. I then downloaded Lineage-images-18-20210723-1344-nio-144.zip, extracted boot.img from it, copied it to my phone, patched that file with Magisk, copied the patched file over to my phone, rebooted into fastboot, and flashed that image:

fastboot flash boot_a boot.img
fastboot flash boot_b boot.img

and now I have root. Clearly you can cut some steps out, but hopefully that will help some people.

You could also boot twrp (fastboot boot twrp.img) and flash the magisk v23 zip. (Rename the apk)

Couldn't flash with tinyfastbootscript. It says "access is denied" then lots of "the system cannot find the file specified" lines.
It only flashed the boot and wiped everything else I think, but didn't flash the ROM.
Had to revert to stock ROM.
Anyone knows why tinyfastboot doesn't work?

You did it wrong, extract TFS and rom to same folder

    *
    * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
    * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
    * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
    * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if

LineageOS Modded 18.1 is now at freeze in preparation for Android 12's upcoming release in September. Updates will be only released on a necessary basis, I'll still take specialized requests at this time.

    Hello

Please tell me what is the difference between

    lineage-18.1-2021xxxx-HOMEMADE-nio.zip
    and
    Lineage-images-18-2021xxxx-xxxx-nio-1xx.zip
    ?

There is a 300M difference in size.
One is most obviously a set of images and the other a OTA package.

Just to know, I guess this rom will remove support for the "Ready For" platform for games and app and also other moto specific modules?
It will retain gestures and moto camera
