Some good news.
Device encryption ist working.
I will do some test on my n5100 after this i will post new boot image.

how does it work:
I used HIDDEN partition for store encryption information and update selinux rules.

file_contexts:

/dev/block/mmcblk0p10        u:object_r:userdata_block_device:s0

fstab:

/dev/block/platform/dw_mmc/by-name/USERDATA    /data        ext4    nosuid,nodev,noatime,noauto_da_alloc,discard,journal_async_commit,errors=panic        wait,check,encryptable=/dev/block/platform/dw_mmc/by-name/HIDDEN

We need new TWRP.

Hi @walter79, many thanks for continuing to improve the ROM/ROM capabilities, I get a real buzz from updates like this.

If you're open to it and have time,I have a small question. Are you willing to share your local_manifests (roomservice.xml) for the ROM/ twrp build? I tried many times to build TWRP (3.1.1.0-3.3.1.0 but could never get touch orientation aligned to landscape screen orientation ... It seemed to me like the flag RECOVERY_TOUCHSCREEN_SWAP_XY had no effect (others like flip X & Y worked). other than touch misalignment the build worked. I began to think the flag issue was down to the device tree I'm using and the slightly different approach it uses to build a recovery using twrp (here's my local manifest: https://github.com/fidoedidoe/android_.repo_local_manifests_gt-n51x0/blob/twrp-14.1/roomservice.xml).

Hello! N5100 is connected to a graphics tablet Huion hs610, it does not affect the cursor. What to do that reflected the cursor? On other devices, there is no problem with the cursor reflection.

I made the mistake of sliding the "Sound"->"Notification Volume" slider all the way to the left ("zero"), now it's stuck there (Notification Sound effectively off) and I cannot slide up the volume again.

How do I re-enable Notification Sound again?

my tablet has another rom, and I tried to play the room old sins. But it gets a pink screen and on the developer's website it says OpenGL ES 3 is needed? Could this rom help me in this?

Hi i don't know if this was already tackled before but i just have a question why usb otg is not working on this rom i tried using cable and usb otg ready flash drive but it keeps on disconnecting but when i installed the n5110 official rom 4.2 jelly bean it works .. Thank you for any answer ..

This is probably the dumbest question ever, but I don't see the answer sticking out at me. Does this ROM support the S-pen. I only ask because many, many years ago I ran accross a few ROMs for the Note line that didn't and wanted to be sure before I update my old tablet.

The pen works as a finger mostly. The reason is that advanced pen control is made by proprietary Sam API unavailable in this ROM.

Go to settings/keys/powerButton, power menu, activate screenshot (or whatever it's name in English or your language). Then long-press the power button and select screenshot from the small menu.
