Well my dad won't buy me a new phone until I complete my school life. As far as performance is concerned mine have 2 GB ram and it's processor still have the capability to run modern day apps smoothly(except games). So to keep up with the modern software an android upgrade is necessary. Hope you understand my situation.:fingers-crossed:
For Honor 4 with 2 GB RAM Oreo is Ok.

Is it stable?

I am concerned about 4.4 safety as it is getting old. This seems to be one of the best roms out there for G620S-L01 model. Can anyone confirm that it is stable? Have you encountered any issues/bugs?

Thanks in advance

You are still on Original ROM 4.4 ? Oh my god, Hey, Change to Lineage 14.1 immediately !!!! You missed really a lot of Features. And, yes, it is stable, I use Lineage (before Cyanogenmod 13) since about two years. Just Do It !!! There are no bugs, even NFC and Whatsapp videocalls are working.

Btw is it more resource heavy than stock? Is the web thingy ram problem still there? Would I get some performance decrease in apps like Snapchat or games?

EDIT: does the notification led work?

I have latest LineageOS. Now I want to unlock SIM network (to be able to use other operator's SIM) on my G620s-L01. I got SIM unlock code from my previous operater, but somehow code does not work - only "Requesting SIM network unlock..." shows on black screen after I enter code and stay there forever. Any solutions or advice, please.

Is your phone operator locked? If it tries to request sim unlock from operator, I guess you need an active internet connection. Also make sure the sim is properly set in place. If it is OS error I can't help :(

Hey, i had the same problem some months ago. The only way to unlock it is by restoring the stock firmware.
So you should backup your system, data and boot (or everything just in case) via TWRP, install the stock rom, unlock your sim, and then restore it to the backed up data.

Thanks... Do you remember where did you find stock firmware and how did you flash it? I tried some, but TWRP says that .zip archive is bad!?

You know what ? Just Flash and Report. If you want to go back to your old Stock ROM you can do it any time if you like, just save it before you Flash Lineage. I flashed back to stock just for fun to see how the old
style was before, the phone was really slower then, everything looked like old fashioned style Buttons. Now under Lineage 14.1. you have the latest modern OS, and free of Charge. What do you want more ? Other mobile users would the thankful but don't have the choice to Change OS because of no Support of Lineage.

Yes, that would be nice !!! I give you the advice, Flash GAPPS Pico, the smallest Google Apps available. And declare your SD Card as internal when ready flashed. Then move all (movable) big apps to SD Card (internal).
If you Need any help, call here !!!
So far so good. I did nandroid before touching anything (in case I screw something up). After that I installed lineage and gapps nano. I set my sd card as external, does it matter that much beacause I don't have dozen of apps on my phone and I have a lot of material on sd that i don't want to lose. No bugs or anything and this really is smoother and better-performing than that 4.4 emui :)
The only thing that I noticed is that Google Play says my phone is uncertified, but I guess it is normal on custom roms.
But anyways if I encounter any problems I'll report it here.

That sounds great !!! I prefer to install GAPPS PICO, but you can do it as you want. I would also prefer to declare the SD Card as Internal and not external only because of Limited space on the internal storage of the phone.
My Internal storage Shows 4,8 GB of used space. I transferred big apps like Facebook or Navigon to the internal SD Card. I stopped automatic updates of Google Play. I only update if the app is non functional any more or if new necessary Features are announced (for example whatsapp videocall). Keep your phone lean anyway, don't update Lineage OS too often. Better make a clean install after some time.

Nice this old model is still being developed for. Too bad battery life is noticeably worse than on stock ROM

It's 20171113 build. Battery is old but camparison is done against stock firmware which was over 2 years old and never been factory reset and used until this Lineage was flashed

Which phone model do you use ? What is the difference between stock and this ROM while normal use ? I use G620S-L01 and I think it is draining 10 to 20 % more the battery, but if you do nothing with the phone the standby is very high. The custom ROM is faster of Course, faster means more power needed. But the phone use is OK for one day without loading up.
