Important Info
Current lineage 14.1 angler nighties are based on the N2G48C (August 2017) monthly update from google. So you should be using the vendor, radio and bootloader img from that update. They can be extracted from the factory image on google's site here. Or you can use the ones linked below that I already extracted:
Note: The radio and bootloader img is the same as what was in the previous monthly google update, so if you already have it you don't need to flash it.
* vendor-n2g48c.img
* radio-angler-angler-03.81.img
* bootloader-angler-angler-03.68.img
The vendor img is flashable with twrp or fastboot. For the radio and bootloader img, use fastboot.

More information and installation instructions can be found on the LineageOS wiki here.

Hello,

I want to be sure before flashing, anyone could help me please?

My N6p is on stock google ROM 8.0.0 Build OPR5.170623.011
The bootloader is aldready unlocked, but the recovery is stock and not rooted.

I have read the tuto here: https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/angler/install#installing-lineageos-from-recovery
and it tell nothing about vendor/radio/bootloader.
Do I have to follow only this tuto or do I have to change something before.

Thanks :good:

Okay I am shamelessly going to ask for an ETA for official LineageOS 15.

It's not that I want to flash the beta build. I want to but at my current state of life, I cannot afford to have any bugs on the phone.

So, any approximate ETA when 15 may come out? December fall? January perhaps?

Thank you.

Here's another unofficial lineage15 oreo nightly I just made, if anyone wants the latest and greatest. :good:

DOWNLOADS:
rom: lineage-15.0-20171118-UNOFFICIAL-angler.zip (alternate download link since AFH is sucking)

gapps: BeansGappsMini-arm64-8.x.x-unofficial_November12Update.zip (thanks to ezio84 for this unofficial beansgapps)

vendor, radio, bootloader img's: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=229292

root: magisk (for more info on magisk see here)

INSTRUCTIONS:
If updating from previous lineage15 build, just boot into twrp and flash the rom zip. Reboot & enjoy.

If installing lineage15 for the first time, follow these instructions.
flash vendor, radio, bootloader img's
wipe system & data & cache
flash rom & gapps & magisk (gapps & magisk are optional)
reboot & enjoy

Important note:
Don't use opengapps, unless you want a broken camera. lol. Use beansgapps I linked above.

Thx Raz for bringing this freshy for us. Your previous build running smooth, can't wait for official builds. Just one question - is there any pico variant of these gapps with working camera?

Amazing! I just flashed the previous build yesterday and it's been rock solid so far. The only feature I was really missing was the notification LED settings - was just about to reinstall Light Flow for the moment but I see you've included it now, so I'll flash this new build instead.

One bug I have noticed is LiveDisplay sometimes gets stuck and doesn't change to/from night mode. I've noticed it more in the morning when it will often be stuck on full night colour, but also sometimes in the evening it will change colour part way but not completely. When it's stuck in night colour, setting to off/auto/day doesn't fix it. I have to manually set it to night and back to auto. I had exactly the same behaviour in 14.1 too - figured it was maybe a quirk or a consequence of not clean flashing sometimes but it appears that's not the case.

I do have the night colour temperature dialled waaaay down (2400k) so I wonder if that could have something to do with it? Also, where I live sunset and sunrise are like flipping a light switch -- there's really no transition from day to night. It seems the LiveDisplay feature is set up to transition quite gradually - maybe it doesn't play nice with 1.25˚ latitude! ;)

I found out why the google crashed. If I delete stuff from the gapps I dont use after reboot I got this problem. If I freeze it with titanium it dont crash. But I dont want to use the Chrome Stuff of other google things.

Anything else that's new besides the LED programming? (Which I can confirm works without issue!)
Can't recall any other significant features. Lots of fixes though.
In my next lineage 15 build i'll cherry pick a couple other things.

Yeah, i think that's the bug that's been around a long while. It affects some people and not others, and happens on other devices too. Some have looked into it and tried to fix it but still happens. There's a ticket for it on jira

Just flashed the latest 11/20 build via TWRP and the instructions from Lineage website. Also flashed the Bean gapps, and lineage su add-on.

When I reboot to system, it's stuck at the Google screen (with unlock logo). Help?

    @sam3000's hotword fix is now merged. :good: So starting with the 15dec nightly, we can have it working. But you'll have to work around a couple issues.

    1. The opengapps zip that people flash is replacing the good hotword apk that comes built into our rom, with one that's incompatible with the 6P. I spoke with the head opengapps guy (mfonville) a few days ago and we discussed a resolution to this problem. He will add a good compatible 6P hotword apk to the gapps zip. But until he does that, you have to replace it. Easiest way to do that is to edit the 70-gapps.sh script that's in this directory: /system/addon.d
    Using a filemanager or anything else that works, open the file and remove any line that has HotwordEnrollment.apk. There will only be one or two. That will stop the script from replacing the one built into our rom. So after the next time you flash a nightly, you will have a good hotword apk.

    2. The second issue is the incompatible hotword apk you had installed leaves incompatible voice model data on your device. So, you have to get rid of it. You can factory reset, but that's overkill. Just go to settings - apps and clear data on "Google App", and that will delete it. Another option to get rid of it is to go to the "ok google" voice settings in the google app. Click on "retrain voice model" at the bottom. If it is grey'd out, you have to toggle on "always on", then quickly press "retrain voice model" before it changes to grey'd out again.

    Once that's done "ok google" will work from anywhere, even with screen off, if you have "always on" turned on.

    why :eek: you have written that all builds are failed and if other builds are released now it is a normal question and your writings are not correct!

    geez. you have issues. lol
    look... There is this thing called a build schedule. The automated build servers follow this schedule. The 6p is done on monday, along with many other devices. See here.

    The 7.1.2 code merge broke part of the android ota signing process that only happens when the builds are signed with a private key. This ota signing process does not happen when making unofficial builds. That's why the build fails only happened on the lineageos build server and not when everyone was making their own unofficial builds at home.

    The code that was broken was not fixed until the end of the day, on monday. So it was too late to manually redo all the builds that failed because it would have interfered with the automated build process and the scheduled builds on tuesday. So it would have thrown off the schedule for the entire week and required more work for the server guy. He's an unpaid volunteer, like everyone else on the lineage team. He has a normal life and job and already spends tons of his free time everyday to contribute to the project. So let's just be happy with that, ok?
