Here's another unofficial lineage15 oreo nightly I just made, if anyone wants the latest and greatest. :good:

DOWNLOADS:
rom: lineage-15.0-20171127_150658-UNOFFICIAL-angler.zip

gapps: BeansGappsMini-arm64-8.x.x-unofficial_November12Update.zip (thanks to ezio84 for this unofficial beansgapps)

vendor, radio, bootloader img's: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=229292

root: magisk (for more info on magisk see here)

INSTRUCTIONS:
If updating from previous lineage15 build, just boot into twrp and flash the rom zip. Reboot & enjoy.

If installing lineage15 for the first time, follow these instructions.
flash vendor, radio, bootloader img's
wipe system & data & cache
flash rom & gapps & magisk (gapps & magisk are optional)
reboot & enjoy

Important note:
Don't use opengapps, unless you want a broken camera. Use beansgapps I linked above.

Notable changes since the last lineage15 build:
1. Some improvements to the built in aosp camera.
2. power off menu added
3. a few new qs tiles added
4. status bar settings added (battery and clock customizations not added yet)

I'd like to try it out, just wondering are there any of the essential features not working (or getting issues)?

hello, im just wondering, is there any chance to run lineage 15 with n6p on 4 cores ? mine is bootlooping on 8 cores so i have to use XCnathan32's fix but for some reason flashing Oreo4cores.img with 4 cores EX kernel 5.03 on this rom results in bootloop anyway. Im just trying to run a rom with aptx support, that means only oreo cm/lineage based ones but i just cant seem to get any of them along with 4 core mod. Would appreciate any help on this one, thanks guise.

Did you flash magisk after you flashed the kernel?

Running the unofficial 15.0 rom and I've come across a weird bug. When the notification shade is fully expanded in portrait orientation, I can't tap the quick settings icons in the middle row to toggle them. However, tapping the text below the icons instead of the icons themselves works fine. Is anyone else experiencing this?

I just flashed the last 15 nightly. Works fine except the random freezes.
It freezes and then after some time soft reboots.
I know it's beta and not official but I thought it's worth mentioning.

There's no problem like that with this rom. Provide details of how and what you installed so we can figure out what's causing it.
Guessing it's a custom kernel you installed or substratum or you have a wrong img installed or maybe missed a step in instructions.

I have followed the instructions from your post.
ROM
GApps
Magisk

No kernel or substratum.

And it looks like it's only the ui that freezes before the soft reboot. I can still feel vibrations of notifications during the freeze.

Update: I have uninstalled F.lux and I haven't experienced a soft reboot or freeze after that. I will keep monitoring it though.

Thank you for another good 15 build. It seems, however, that I don't have any restart options. That button menu is toggled on, however when I select restart, it just simply restarts the phone.

EDIT: Disregard. I forgot the toggle in the dev settings menu for "advanced restart." :)

Project Fi bug fixed

Getting the select sim card popup everytime project fi does its switch.. any fixes for this.

That "select sim card" pop-up bug was finally fixed last week. That was plaguing several custom roms for almost 2 years now. Ugghh.
It mostly only affected people on Project Fi, so the majority of users never saw it.

@razorloves what's the "release" schedule for unofficial Los 15 builds? And any change on a date for becoming official?
Ow and last question, when will you use 8.1 as base?

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of android, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock android for your device.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit our Wiki.

    Important Info
Current lineage 14.1 angler nighties are based on the N2G48C (August 2017) monthly update from google. So you should be using the vendor, radio and bootloader img from that update. They can be extracted from the factory image on google's site here. Or you can use the ones linked below that I already extracted:
Note: The radio and bootloader img is the same as what was in the previous monthly google update, so if you already have it you don't need to flash it.
    * vendor-n2g48c.img
    * radio-angler-angler-03.81.img
    * bootloader-angler-angler-03.68.img
The vendor img is flashable with twrp or fastboot. For the radio and bootloader img, use fastboot.

More information and installation instructions can be found on the LineageOS wiki here.

    Download Links
    LineageOS: https://download.lineageos.org/angler
Google apps: Beans GApps (recommend mini)
SU addon zip: Addon Install zip / Addon Removal zip NOTE: LineageOS does not come with root, so this is now provided for those that want it. The install zip is a one time flash, like gapps. Meaning, it persists when updating to a new LineageOS nightly. REF: https://download.lineageos.org/extras

@sam3000's hotword fix is now merged. :good: So starting with the 15dec nightly, we can have it working. But you'll have to work around a couple issues.

    1. The opengapps zip that people flash is replacing the good hotword apk that comes built into our rom, with one that's incompatible with the 6P. I spoke with the head opengapps guy (mfonville) a few days ago and we discussed a resolution to this problem. He will add a good compatible 6P hotword apk to the gapps zip. But until he does that, you have to replace it. Easiest way to do that is to edit the 70-gapps.sh script that's in this directory: /system/addon.d
Using a filemanager or anything else that works, open the file and remove any line that has HotwordEnrollment.apk. There will only be one or two. That will stop the script from replacing the one built into our rom. So after the next time you flash a nightly, you will have a good hotword apk.

    2. The second issue is the incompatible hotword apk you had installed leaves incompatible voice model data on your device. So, you have to get rid of it. You can factory reset, but that's overkill. Just go to settings - apps and clear data on "Google App", and that will delete it. Another option to get rid of it is to go to the "ok google" voice settings in the google app. Click on "retrain voice model" at the bottom. If it is grey'd out, you have to toggle on "always on", then quickly press "retrain voice model" before it changes to grey'd out again.

Once that's done "ok google" will work from anywhere, even with screen off, if you have "always on" turned on.

why  you have written that all builds are failed and if other builds are released now it is a normal question and your writings are not correct!

    geez. you have issues. lol
look... There is this thing called a build schedule. The automated build servers follow this schedule. The 6p is done on monday, along with many other devices. See here.

The 7.1.2 code merge broke part of the android ota signing process that only happens when the builds are signed with a private key. This ota signing process does not happen when making unofficial builds. That's why the build fails only happened on the lineageos build server and not when everyone was making their own unofficial builds at home.

The code that was broken was not fixed until the end of the day, on monday. So it was too late to manually redo all the builds that failed because it would have interfered with the automated build process and the scheduled builds on tuesday. So it would have thrown off the schedule for the entire week and required more work for the server guy. He's an unpaid volunteer, like everyone else on the lineage team. He has a normal life and job and already spends tons of his free time everyday to contribute to the project. So let's just be happy with that, ok?
