Thanks for your work.
I had a problem using nano gapps.
After booting start the setup but wifi don't connect, was turned off. So when I asked for retrieving data from cloud it gave me error. I solved this issue coming back and select set as a new device. Wifi turned on and I registered to my home wifi then income back and select restore from cloud.
Have a good day

Yep, same here. This was weird, but no big problem.

Does anyone knows if this ROM encrypts by default the data partition or no?
It encrypts by default. Mine did at least.

Audio Sound Qualityvs 7.1.1

Thank you so much for this ROM as it was highly anticipated! A question though regarding sound quality: is the output sound from the speakers similar to that of 7.0 or are the issues from 7.1.1 still present? That issue was low cracking Sounds and low bass coming from the speakers and a never ending but report was already made on Google to address it.

Nexus 9 Lineage First Impressions

I just flashed a minute ago. I've been waiting for this to be released. I switched over to Lineage on my OnePlus when it first came out. The nexus has been way too laggy on the latest stock releases. I hope this helps. I received a vendor image mismatch error on boot up but so far no issues. I'm going to flash gapps and will report back later. Thanks for working on this!!
I've had a few days now with Lineage OS on my Nexus 9 (wifi). The vendor mismatch error was my fault since I had not flashed the vendor image. I have that worked out now. I also had some issues with the GAPPS mini I flashed from the original post. It kept loosing the connection to my Google account and not letting me log back in. After various troubleshooting attempts a factory reset took care of that problem.

Only one slight issue remains although I'm sure I haven't tested it enough yet. The small LED light on the bottom of the nexus remains on occasionally when I put it to sleep or close the cover to my case. I actually forgot this had existed. I believe it was a battery depleted indicator on the stock OS when plugged in. Has it been re-purposed to indicate something else in Lineage or just a bug?

Overall I'm enjoying the new OS. It appears to be much snappier and less laggy than stock. Only time will tell if will remain this way. Thanks for all the hard work on this. Please keep it going since Google won't be sending us any more updates.

When i start my nexus 9 (lte) i get a system messege (see attachment).
is it because i did not flash these:
* vendor-volantisg-n4f27e.img
* bootloader-flounder_lte-3.50.0.0143.img?

do i need to flash both? can i do it now after i flashed lineage without doing it again?

You need to flash the latest and greatest vendor image (only). This has been discusses before in this thread. Yes, just flash the one you have, but leave out the bootloader (though it would do no harm I believe).
