@razorloves will always update the OP with the correct vendor & bootloader for every LOS update. I know it from my Nexus 5X. Very great service by him! :good: You don't need to download the latest firmware by google. So always check the first post for the correct files.
Try turning off Bluetooth scanning in location settings
I went and did a hard reset on the device (after a Titanium Backup) and it seemed to fix it.

No one uses Hangouts with Google Voice SMS on this device?
I'd like to second this observation. The inability to use Google Voice with Hangouts for SMS is the one thing I'd love to see fixed. Everything else has been brilliant so far.

never seen that issue. do you have any mods or themes installed? i think i remember reading about some themes causing that issue on other devices.I've got a really strange issue: every time I enable usb-debugging it disables itself after closing the settings app.
Edit: works in safe mode, but that's no real solution...

OK. I will do that when I do my next round of LineageOS testing mid July. I had to switch ROMs temporarily as I am about to start travels and need this functionality to work right for the trip.
The only thing I use is a TWRP theme. I flashed LOS, OpenGApps and the su-addon. I flashed the exactly same things on my Nexus 5X where I don't have the issue. I never had it before with any rom or mod. If there is no solution I will flash it back to stock and try it again. Thanks anyway.
fed patcher works fine. you have to choose the "format data" option in twrp.
I just tried again, it did not work. Security settings says "Encrypted"
