you could use magisk manager and hide those apps from detecting root.that is what i have done with my nexus 9 with the lineage 14.1 june build with magisk 19.3. just hide them and then they work.i am using net flix, and a few other streaming apps with my nexus9 fine.

trying to get this version installed. nexus9 flounder.

have the latest twrp, I wipe everything and then I install the rom, gapps nano 7.1 and the su version from the first post. everytime I get in a bootloop or google service framework keeps stopping.
may someone has an idea?
First, you have to have the right vendor image. Without that it won't work. Second, I use opengapps 7.1 ARM 64 stock, since it is hard to set up without a keyboard.

For information:

when I had installed this LineageOS, it startet everytime with Lineage-settings instead of Trebuchet. And Lineage-settings was only a black screen. I had to rename the settings-app to a useless "apkz" for the tablet to start normal. When I had the updates flashed, the lineage-settings where again starting ...

For those, who get the maincamera not working with the original-cam-app: use Opencamera .

No idea what's going on here.
The ROM was absolutely fine and smooth until a few hours ago.

After leaving it in standby for around one hour, the system behaves worse than ever before.

In the last three hours, I had around 10 freezes and two random reboots. Even after the required hard resets, it failed to boot a few times. One time it was stuck forever at the boot animation and a few times it was stuck with a full white screen right after the Google bootloader logo.

Cleared cache and Dalvik and also reflashed the ROM but no change.

I also noticed that the tablet is getting fairly hot on the left side. Seems the temperature is somehow related to the bad behaviour. The hotter the worse so I assume this is somehow related to the CPU clock.

Will try to get back to the previous version now as the tablet is nearly unusable.

In the meantime I went back to the backup from yesterday. Now everything is back to how it was before.

What I still don't understand, why was it really smooth for about one day and suddenly went totally crazy?

From what I could see, the troubles are coming from the constantly high CPU load and the resulting heavy temperature rise.
