Gcam?Camera is not upto the mark. any fix for that?
3 rd point fixed in upcoming buildAs per my use of first official build of Los15.1 here are my observations in form of pros and cons.
1. No volte icon on status bar which is common in almost all other Oreo ROM.
2. No Vilte call through dialer.
3. Playstore uncertified.
4. Dark camcorder in low light
5. Few minor glitches.
Pros:
1. First official Oreo Los 15.1 build for 2 yr old device even Redmi note 3 doesn't have.
2. Call recording available through stock dialer.
3. UI is fluid ,smooth and fast.
4. Fast charging through stock charger.
5. Loud and clear sound output.
Thanks to developer for their hard work and support.:silly:
why dirty flash? clean flash recommended always.Sadly I can't I stall this ROM. When I first dirty flashed over latest 14.1, clock, camera and many other apps didn't work.
So I thought I would need a clean install. However, after formatting data, and wiping everything before installing, I got stuck with a boot loop. The only way I got 15.1 to run was to clean install latest 14.1, then dirtyflash 15.1.
This time, all apps seemed to work. Unfortunately, fingerprint sensor was not recognized, this option even vanished in security settings.
Any advice?
Actual problem?Camera is not upto the mark. any fix for that?
Link? For guys facing gcam problem, enable cam2 API first as it is disabled by default and if you want video recording too then use gcam by tylon . I personally tested and it working for me flawlessly:silly:

Actual problem?
Have you read my post? I tried to clean flash it, but then I was always stuck with a boot loop.why dirty flash? clean flash recommended always.
The Updater app pointed me to the upgrade instruction on the wiki, which basically guides through a dirty flash. Will that work 14.1 (official) → 15.1 (official)? I thought that was impossible because of the nature of 15.1.
Not officiallyWill 14.1 continue to get updates?
